i just saw this on the "prosociate" WP plugin. if you're selling amazon, it might be a good idea to add this to your blog footer so that you don't get suddenly axed if they visit your site.

(and we all know how some companies like to boot advertisers...)

Amazon's TOS requires you to place the following text somewhere on your site in a way that is clearly visible to users. We recommend placing it in your footer:

"CERTAIN CONTENT THAT APPEARS ON THIS SITE COMES FROM AMAZON SERVICES LLC.
THIS CONTENT IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE OR REMOVAL AT ANY TIME."

Definitely not wasting pixels on the footer for that shit. You should always have that and more in your ToS and privacy policy.

You could technically create another item in the menu and call it amazon associate disclosure policy...

I've always just used the one that Reyone posted on my privacy policy page. Do you think we need to add both or would just the associates disclosure be fine?

i'm no expert but as long as you have some kind of disclosure you're probably in the clear. i only posted it because i'm working on an amazon store and i saw that policy warning.
