I already have 1 amazon related site, but the way that I done it took a lot of time since all content was unique and I added each product myself.

This time, I've got a domain that's not as good so I decided I should take the easy way out :p so,what would you recommend to build an amazon site ? I'm looking for something that I can type in a keyword and then those products display on my site. It would be good if I could have articles on it too (so that there's unique content on there!)

Would be even better if it was free too...don't really like using cracked versions.

    Thanks!

This plugin displays Amazon ads based on the title of your post. I use it in coordination with WP-Robot. I give WP-Robot a few thousand keywords to find content on and set the title as {Keyword}. This is not a free setup but it sounds like I am doing what you are looking to do.

    Hmmm...thanks.

I'm looking for more of a "store" type of site though....then I'll just have a widget at the side with a few articles.

The plugin places the Amazon products in the post and you can customize the layout to make it look however you want.

I have mine set up as:

    Title

    A bunch of products

    Content

It wasn't hard to set up the plugin to make it look like a store. I like my sites looking like a store too. I just did a little html tweaking.

    Thanks LBrown.

The only problem I have is that the domain that I'm about to buy will be kind of hard to write content about. Plus it's a product, so I was thinking about making it look like a store with a few articles on it since the content from products won't be unique.

If you're just looking for Amazon product descriptions I think that every single Amazon autoblogging/RSS plugin (including the one I linked to) will do that for you. There are a ton of free ones floating around. Then you can get another autoblogging plugin to yank content for you which you can spin, translate or just manually rewrite. WP Robot does all of that too but there are a ton of free options for something that simple. I hate to tell you to search the downloads section but I think that is your best bet to find just what you're looking for.

    Thanks guys.

Maybe I'll just put up a few articles then have an amazon widget at the side of the site with related products?

I always said that I'll never get in to making sites that don't have any unique content! Ha

I would also recommend contextual and image links.

Ok guys here's my plan :

Post a few articles on the site (Wordpress)

Left hand side of the site will have an amazon widget

Right hand side will have Adsense ads.

    And that's it :)
