I have seen countless amount of newbies on here saying that even when a keyword is low competition, they can't seem to rank at #1, regardless of how much content they publish. The problem with this is that sites usually don't rank anywhere without any links in my opinion unless you get organic links, which Amazon Product Review sites don't usually get.

In this Journey, I will be ranking a low comp keyword with the use of my own PBN network + outreach. I will be building my own PBN network and not using ANY BHW service and will be guest posting on niche-related sites for outreach.

Hopefully with this journey, I can show newbies that it is possible to rank a low comp keyword, even if you don't have as many resources like your competitors.

Site A: This is my only site right now and I don't plan on starting on another one unless I find the "gold mine" or I start seeing passive income with my current site and have a few keywords sitting at #1.

Niche: Pets + Is Buyer's Intent Keyword. I will only be targeting "best" keywords and "review" keywords.

Product Price: $10~$50 - Yes, there are niches with similar competition with better prices than this, but I am looking for ultimately passive income. I am in the process with building a massive site with other people, so I am building this site for a bit of passive income while building that site.

A tip for newbies is that higher competition usually might mean higher competition, but not always, so always check your competition to see if it will be rankable. Don't trust tools too much to determine competition and use common sense.

    Word Count: 8,936

Link Building: I currently have 1 PBN link pointing towards on of my inner pages with the keyword I am targeting with the article. I have 2 other expired domains that I registered and setup, which I am waiting to see if they get indexed with their test post. I usually write a 300 word post related to the domain and keep it deep inside the categories to check if the domain is going to get indexed by Google.

If the blogpost gets indexed, I post another blog post after around 3-5 days that contains a link towards an authority within my niche. This post is 300 words with an image. After posting it, I wait at least a week before posting the official post of 300 words with an image or YouTube video that links to my money site inner page with the keyword anchor that I am targeting.

As I am in a fairly small niche, I believe I don't need much PBN links to start ranking #1 for longtails and with a few outreach guest posts, I'll hopefully reach #1 for my main keywords. However, my goal with this site is to rank for PLENTY of longtail keywords and rank for those instead of ranking high for a 1,500 MS term.

This is because since my product price is low, I want the best ROI as possible. So targeting low MS with low product price with a few PBN's might not be worth it in the end.

I will probably talk about my link building strategies as the weeks go on, so stay tuned.

*If you are going to tell me to not use PBNs as they don't work anymore, save your hands health, as they still work and rank sites well. As long as I have a positive ROI and I see passive income, I'm fine with it.

Costs + Pricing: I like to be as conservative as possible because the money that is backing up this project is coming from freelancing. I do writing on Fiverr at an exclusive price, "300 Words for $5", so I earn for little work. I also do proofreading and etc on the side to create a bit of bank for myself to work off of, so I try and keep the costs as low as possible.

I only register domains if they are around the $1-$3 range, as they seem to pop up in popular registars in different times. You can find them easily as well if you use special Google search queries so good luck!

    4 Domains Registered: $11
    1x HostPapa for $1 - PBN
    2x ENom for $1 - PBN
    1x NameSilo for $8 - Money Site

    3 Hosting Plans: $25 + $6 + $2
1x Hostgator for $25 - Money Site (Expiring Soon, Need to Find Cheap Alternative)
1x OneCl**** for $2 - PBN (3xYears for SSD hosting, so was great price. I am using one domain normally on this host and one domain on CloudFlare)
1x Green***** for $6 - PBN (Just found this SSD host today on BHW and they were having discounts, so I took it as it was cheap and for a PBN anyways. They also offered different C Class IP's, so I'm probably going to use some of this host for more PBN links.)

    Content: $0
I write my own content, so I don't have to spend anything on content and as you know, I'm not going to be using link building services on BHW, mainly because I don't trust them.

I just recently found out that MacBooks have a built-in dictation speech-to-text that learns your accent as you keep on using it, so I am planning on "training" my MacBook to completely learn my accent (Raised in US, so not a big problem) to provide maximum efficiency. I only use this feature when no one is home (15 years old, so parents aren't 100% okay with my doing IM all the time when I'm home and my niche is kind of weird to be talking about while parents are home).

That should be it. I won't be updating visitor count like everyone else for awhile because that is probably mostly bots (crawlers; spiders) or the lucky organic visitor. However, I will be updating whenever sales come in since those are important.

My GOAL: Make passive income of around $100-$300. Like I said, I'm 15 and I'm working on a massive authority site which will be the majority of my income. So $100-$300 on the side is perfect while I'm working on the bigger goal.

My secondary goal which is my initial goal is to get a deposit from Amazon of my $100. I always seem to make around 80% of the cap to withdraw, but something bad then happens which ruins my entire process.

So hopefully with this journey, I reach my goal of $100-$300/month and get my first check ever from Amazon!

Forgot to mention this. I'm going to be adding a TOP 3 *sub-niche* Products table on the top with links and pictures so that the visitors leaves ASAP with my link and the info they need to buy!

Hope you follow along and succeed along with me man!
Try and pick a niche that has a decent number of products with a great number of reviews. Also, try to target "buyers" keyword so that more of your traffic is converting.
Thanks! I was going to use your writing service for my site, but after seeing your samples, I think my content is good enough to pass for this site.

    Thanks!

    Quick Update

Today, I will try to get as much content writing done as possible, so that the next few days can be focused more on PBN building and outreach. I also forgot to mention, that I setup the homepage article and let the site sit for around a month. This is to make sure that the site has proper time to age.

Going to write around 3-4k words for pre-planned titles. Also going to purchase 2x expired domains that I already have and find a good host for them. Will be updating the total costs for those later when I do them.

I'm probably going to slow down with the content once I have a hard time finding sub-niches, but currently, I have lots and lots to write about, as this niche is pretty expandable.

That's about it for now. Writing, writing, writing and then writing. Hopefully the two PBN sites I have setup are ready to point some links to my site!

Why waste time & energy going for low comp kw??

Since you're putting efforts anyway,go for a kw that will make you money.

It may take a bit more but you will make more and will learn how to rank for other competitive keywords too.

    GL anyway.

Good luck with your Journey OP, and I know if you build your PBNs well, you will be ranking in a couple of months. And good thing is, you are in control of your tier1s.

If you ask me, i would advice you to not make all the posts 300 ish. And 300 is too small. This is what almost all the PBNs are using. Why not invest a little more on content? Make some 600+ words, some 1500+ etc. With this, your pbn will look like a small niche site.

    Best of Lucks.

    Thanks :D
    Thanks!!
I am going for low comp kw because it won't require as much resources and I am building this website for a bit of passive income on the side while I work with my partners on the massive site.
Yes, you are right. Now all posts will be 300 words, but most will be around there. Thing is, if I get a manual inspection on my PBN, they will know its a PBN anyhow, so spending that much more on content isn't really worth it.

Since I am writing the content myself, each PBN costs me around $7-8 in total, so investing into content isn't really the best strategy right now.

    #Jackpot.

After getting my content done, I did a bit of keyword hunting to get my next set of article titles ready for my next writing session. While I was searching, I came across a term that looked interesting. Here were the results.

    3,600 Monthly Searches

    $7-$50 Average Price Range

7 KeywordRevealer Competition Score (Don't trust but good indication)

The first page has 2x Youtube Videos and a domain with 30 chars. #x30.com and had TF 0 and CF 0 when checked with Majestic.

This keyword should really be easy to rank, so I am going to use my PBN's to try and rank first for this keyword first before anything else. A thing I noticed is that it becomes easier to rank for keywords once you rank #1 for keywords in the niche already. So I'll get this keyword to #1 first before doing anything else.

Already wrote a 2k buyer's guide on this and have 3 PBN domains pointing towards the guide. 2x exact kw anchor text + 1x longtail kw anchor text.

    Let's see how this goes!

    Thanks mate!
This is the same exact journey as that one, except I lost the thread. I tried to look in my previous posts but I had a posting spree in which I completely lost the location, so I couldn't find it. This is "No Investment Required" as well, because I will be using my Fiverr and Freelancing income to support this as well!
    Thanks.

90% success rate, Google can change their ago anytime to make my PBNS useless haha.
