    Scenario:
You have one host and using sub domains for each niche site and using a url shortening service or whatever.

When you sign up as an 'Amazon Associate', do you sign up individually for each niche site you have? Meaning you'd have multiple Amazon accounts. Or for the sign up you'd just register your main domain?

Just use one site to signup, pick the better one. After they approve you, you can use the account to promote amazon products in unlimited sites.

Yeah. As Ravyanture said, once they approve you, you can use your link anywhere. It's not limited to just the approved site. You want to make individual tracking IDs so you can follow the performance of each individual site.

Of course, if you're planning anything grey or black hat, you might want more than one account. But generally, amazon is pretty permissive as long as you're not forcing clicks.
