    Here goes everything.

About me: I can't say to much here honestly. I was one of those guys who learn quickly and then see an end goal and get bored. Well something in me changed not to long ago and I started giving things my all and kicking failure from my vocabulary. It is more like a misstep on the way to success. So all I can say is I will succeed. Keeping up this log will primarily be a hope to get a little help and at the same time help others in the future who are ready to buckle down and do something.

I have two plans. I know I've read it many times, "
Focus on one project at a time to see success". I'm stubborn sorry. If you can give me an excellent reason to focus on one over the other I will take it into consideration. It would just be great to have the money from the parasites to focus on making some really nice high quality authority sites.

Plan 1: Make a micro-niche site, monetize with amazon, then make it into an authority site if it shows signs of profit.

Plan 2: Try out Tommy's parasite plan. Research an easy ranking keyword. Find the right parasite to use. give it some social signals and a good variety of backlinks drip fed over a few weeks. Let sit, than play with some PBN's or some higher PR back-links.

Tools: Ok, I kind of need help here. So many tools so little time. I am mainly worried about keyword research. I have Market Samurai, Google's tools, and I was thinking about investing in SERPwoo for the parasite research. I have Scrapebook and haven't decided on a poster like GSA or something similar. (I will probably decide on whatever I can crack to be honest.)

It may seem like I am being overly safe right now but I don't have a bunch of funds to throw at this. I will be working on this every day and the days I do not I will be researching.

    Day 1-3:
Decide on 3 niches. 2 CB niches for the parasites and 1 I can have a little passion about for the micro-niche.
Attempt to get over this keyword anxiety I have and lock some down.
Some aged domain research and competitor investigation.

    Update

    Plan 2 has changed.
I will now be following Napster's journey, working in a community skype group.

This group is open to everyone for the next few days. If you are interested please PM me your Skype and I will explain the details and add you to a group.

I will update this thread with my own experience and results.

Plan 1 is still the same. I have found my niche and now I will be doing some domain research.

ps. should i start a new thread?

Good luck with your journey, man! I couldn't work on two separate projects if I wanted, I just find it so hard to put in the effort needed.

I hope it goes great, keep us updated!

Thanks everyone for the great replies :)

Plan 2: The group is growing. So far everyone seem to range form minor experience to experienced IMers. After everyone settles down and introduces themselves the groups will probably be split in a way that the best information can be shared and gathered by the more experienced group. The less experienced groups will still be-able to see and read the more experienced groups chat and the more experienced group will be able to chat in the less experienced groups. This seems like a fair and organized way to get the most out of everything.

My personal development on this project is I now have a niche and a domain and I will probably have my keywords completed by tomorrow but no guarantees. I will have allot of them done though. I simply don't want to skimp here.

Plan 1: I am now doing keyword research for this but to be honest i may just pay someone to do it. Even if i do I will thoroughly research the keywords and probably add to the list with my own research.

I would just stick with one but this is actually pretty fun. I don't really see it as work more like an eCommerce video game. :) So as long as i keep myself organized (the hard part) It is actually pretty easy. Time consuming? Yes, but easy.

So I finally have everything settled and things changed one last time

    Site 1:

This turned into another authority site somehow, apparently i just like the idea of authority sites. I do enjoy teaching people almost as much as i like learning and making money. I enjoy winning above all and that is the key here.

    Details:
Thanks to ramanan for the initial keywords, good stuff.
10 pages each 1k+ word articles.
Keywords are lightly focused with similar keywords sprinkled in.
I have 10 more articles on the back burner that I will drop in randomly each day.
On page SEO is done for each page, but no off page SEO yet.

    Site 2:

This one has been fun as the niche is completely based on my companions interests. This has given me some good motivation, while at the same time allowing her to chime in and give me ideas. In light of all the new material I have, I took notice that i have more resources than any of my competition. There is one but I'm not to worried about a website with 50 pages that only really covers part of my niche.

    Details:
40 1k+ articles written and being drip fed in.
On page SEO is done for most of them but I have spent more time writing them and photo-shopping images.
Website design is pretty much complete, in the future I will probably integrate a forum for the site. I am sure I will need to improve my silo structure as these are my first sites set up like this.
Wrote 10 articles for off page SEO, haven't done anything with them yet. I want to give my website time to sit the domain is not aged at all.

    Site 3:

Yes another one. I have this REALLY terrible grammar problem and in my time of need my English major friend came to me. While catching up the moment of brilliance happened upon me. Our friendship is one of those psychological battles where we each know each other better than we know ourselves. At the same time we hate one another with a passion. We do have a few interests that are similar yet we tackle them differently. The third niche was born.

    Details:
    authority site (who knew?)
    5 1k+ articles writen
    Domain and hosting purchased.

This guy churns out 3 articles perfected for publishing by the time I have 1 ready for review. So I am exited for the new partnership on the third site as it's a subject we can goof off with and have a little fun.

    What's to come?

Site 1: 50 articles up then decide on how to monetize and work the ideas into the next 50 articles.
Site 2: 50 articles up then decide on how to monetize and work the ideas into the next 50 articles.
Site 3: Set up heavy hitting social media while building the website. No need to rank this one as it will be easier to drag in a community via social media. The site itself is meant to bring people back so why bother ranking.
