Hi, Im really interested in setting up an Amazon affiliate site and ive the following questions

    1. Do you purchase an expired domain to help you or do you simply get a new domain?
    2. Can you not re-write the content? I checked some sites on Flippa and they don't re-write but they're selling it. If i were to re-write, there's the costs of time and money and i was just hoping to retrieve from Amazon and then do some SEO on it.
    3. How do you find non competitive keywords? What tools do you use? Do you rank for google.com
    4. Do you link build with PBN's? Or do the ultimate tough white hat strategy?

    Many manyt hanks!!

    1. A good expired domain that is very relevant to what you are promoting can help, but not easy to find, so most of the time it is cheaper to start with a fresh domain.
    2. It's best to write your own content, I don't see any sites with the same content as amazon reaching the top of google for any keywords these days.
    3. I find my keywords by spending a lot of time just browsing through amazon and getting ideas for niches and then checking for 'buying' keywords and longtail keywords associated with specific products.
    4. I am currently ranking sites with a PBN and they are doing fine.

    1. depends, if you find a nice expire domain you like, buy it, otherwise make one.
    2. you can rewrite or not rewrite content as you please.
    3. try keywords planner and wordtracker.
    4. it depends on the site, if its churn n burn, or if you want it to be a stable source of income for a few years.

Thank you everyone for your answers. Ill be getting fresh domains since expired domains are never the keywords i want and expensive. Rewriting is a must as i can see...

Question: Is Amazon affiliate sites part of your private blog network? Should it be? Or no, just create a blog network with strictly blogs in it?

All the questions you asked have the answer here on forum. Spend 2-3 hours and read some threads. If you are not willing to do this, I doubt you will make any money with Amazon.
