    Hello,

I have a question regarding amazon, hope you guys can help, thx in advance.

I have opened an affiliate account in amazon, and they requested me to have a website and choose the type of products I would sell in the site.

My site is related to hair products so I choose hair products and inserted my website.

My question is, now that I gave my site and selected the type of products to this website, what about if I start another website and want to sell other type of products?

I m using wp-robot to fill the site with amazon products so all it does is use my ID in the other type of products like cell phones and tvs.

Could this be a trouble with amazon ? Should I contact them telling I m selling other products beside the ones I choose ate the beginning ?

    Ty

No its fine you can sell any other products you wish, you dont need to inform Amazon. Make sure you set up a new tracking id for each website you plan on promiting products with so you can manage which sites the sales are coming from etc.

The first site they ask for is just to check that your serious and not a spammer etc.

    Good Luck

    No prob.

I have lots of micro niche blogs promoting different lines of products.
The site I registered with original was a download site and never used for Amazon.

For every blog I setup I use a different tracking ID so I guess it's obvious to Amazon that I'm promoting from a lot of different domains.

    Thx !!

Regarding the new tracking ID. I can't see any option to assign the new ID to another site. Website remains allways the same.

In WP-ROBOT there is the Amazon affiliate ID: ****** , should I change it now to my new tracking ID ? or this is the general ID of my account?

    Thx in advance

Amazon has their own widgets for that. You can pick specific products or keywords, then build a widget around it and insert the code into your site. They make it a little too easy.

A tracking ID is not connected to a website.
All your tracking ID's are connected to your account.

You can have three websites dealing with the same line of products, all three having the same tracking ID.
Or assign different ID's to them.

You could even have all your websites sharing the same tracking ID if you don't care to know what sites are making you money.
