Have to admit, if this does come out as planned, it'd be pretty cool.
I have only one question, if someone order a product using amazon prime air, should they keep the drone too, or hit it with a RPG just for fun.
Say Hello to My Little friend
lol... come on son. its not real. LOL
I quote from YouTube.
It'll be a long time before anything like this comes close to reality.
LOL if this happens I will be waiting for my neighbors order with a fishing net
Am sure as hell if this come to the UK, the kids with BB gun will shoot the fecker outter the sky and probably nick the delivery hahah
saw that commercial earlier today,so is it for real?
Well at the rate amazon is selling products there would probably be more of those helicopters than birds in the sky lol
Im not impressed. Harry Potter has been doing this with Owls for over 10 years.
Um... Amazon confirmed it? So I guess it is...
This is more pratical that it looks, drones (if built correctly) are cheap, so they can account for stealing/depredation, the goods that it can deliver aren't way too big nor expensive, so they can account for robberies, and best of all, they seen to be silent and fly pretty high, so it won't really bother you with the noise.
And if you go to the youtube comments, you'll se a whole myriads of people don't understanding that this is going to happend, either they like it or not.
Stupidest idea in years but Jeff Bezos is laughing all the way to the bank with the free publicity he has gotten from CBS. I keep thinking of the model plane enthusiast that got decapitated by one of his own planes and then imagine the carnage that would ensue from a fleet of thousands of errant drones flying about the countryside.
Can you imagine the panic on a expressway when on of these suckers fails and falls into rush hour traffic because of an electrical failure? I can see the lawyers lining up their commercial spots now; "have you or a loved one been maimed or injured by a drone?".
Jeff Bezos is clearly not the second coming of Steve Jobs!
