    Hi guys,

since 2 months now, I'm playing with the thought of creating my own amazon niche sites.

I've read quite a lot about that topic but there are still 1 or 2 questions unanswered for me. Maybe someone of you guys could help me out! ;)

1.) If I have choosen my niche (5.000 - 15.000 monthly searches on main keyword) is it enough to write ONE article (between 3.000 and 5.000 words) and put it on the main page for the main keyword? Or, do I have to produce a lot of sub-pages on my niche site with long-tail-keywords?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid of work, but knowing that I have to create around 10-20 additional articles (500-1.000 words) for the long-tail-keywords is a lot of work or money (if i outsource the writing)!

So, is it possible to rank for the main keyword with a niche site with only one ~ 5k article (targeting the main keyword) on it @Rank 1 on Google? (I have researched the competition and there is only amazon and a few other pages but not one niche site)

2.) Well, I've forgot the second question! :D

Maybe someone could give me some information. Would appreciate it a lot!

    Cheers!

Me too having same question, i have observed that having a one big article for main KWs and some small (just small compared to main) has higher chance of making Main Kw rank higher, i have observed it, did not do myself as im still on my first site.

Why wouldn't you do both? The pillar article on the main page will help you rank, and long tail keywords are pretty important for any site trying to gain organic traffic.

    Yeah,

that's my question. Is it really necessary to have a few articles for long-tails...

I'd like to know if a one page article on the main page would be enough!

    Regards

A one page article will probably catch a few long-tails, but it couldn't possible target all of them which is why you want to go after them with your other pages.

I mean, if I want only one keyword (with e.g.: 7.000 monthly searches) be ranked in the SE's.

And I wonder if it's possible to rank it with only one article?
