Jesus...I've tried twice now to get approved to sell parts on amazon. Both applications got rejected: why? Apparently my 'product images' aren't up to par. They state that you need 'high quality images, with no watermarks and on a transparent background.' WTF, I've looked at thousands upon thousands of amazon seller pages which don't meet these guidelines, yet they're still selling and aren't pulled.

As a part of the 'transparent background' requirement, they state that a 'white wall' will not suffice. Lol at that.

Anywho, anyone who already has an amazon merchant account: if you could please give me a few pointers as to how to get my images approved, it would be greatly appreciated. Would taking a regular picture then cropping out the item itself in PS and pasting it on a transparent white background suffice? Or am I missing something here?

    Thanks

If you can't get images right off Amazon, or from the manufacturer, then you should probably set up an entirely different site, with an entirely different product that has factory images available. After you get approved, sell your parts.

Appreciate it sir. Funny thing is, I linked them to my store on ioffer in which I took ALL my images from the manufacturer (no watermarks) and was STILL rejected. Sheesh.

I'm thinking I have to crop out the backgrounds on all the photos to a transparent white to even be given a second look, at this point.

Fuck Amazon, they deleted my account, order, and wouldn't send me my laptop and they're holding my $550 refund check hostage. AND their outsourced customer service sucks ass.
