Amazon Links in Youtube description?

Hi guys

I am unsure if I am allowed to put a link to my Kindle book in the description of a youtube video (not an affiliate link, I know they are not allowed.). The video gets 3000 daily views and I would like to make some money with it.

If you are not sure , place a redirect url hosted on your website/server. This way you can track the clicks too .

You mean I can just create one blog post on my site and redirect that to the amazon offer?

I know a guy that sells his CDs and stuff off his youtube video, I think you can pretty much link to anything within reason.
