?Prohibited Paid Search Placement? means an advertisement that you purchased through bidding on keywords, search terms, or other identifiers (including Proprietary Terms) or other participation in keyword auctions. ?Proprietary Term? means keywords, search terms, or other identifiers that include the word ?amazon,? ?endless,? ?Kindle,? or ?Javari,? or any other trademark of Amazon or its affiliates, or variations or misspellings of any of those words (e.g., ?ammazon,? ?amaozn,? ?endlss,? ?enldess? ?kindel,? and ?javary?). ?Redirecting Link? means a link that sends users indirectly to the Amazon Site via an intermediate site or webpage and without requiring the user to click on a link or take some other affirmative action on that intermediate site or webpage. ?Search Engine? means Google, Yahoo, Bing, or any other search engine, portal, sponsored advertising service, or other search or referral service, or any site that participates in any of their respective networks.

I am currently using ppc and ppv to get the traffic to my amazon niche site. My question is , is there any problem if I bid the keywords which are mentioned above in their part of operating agreement?. If so how do they can find that I am bidding those keywords?. The reason is , the referrer info what they see is my site only.

And another question is if I put iFrame in mysite for one of their product listing pages pages, is there any problem?. They mentioned that without user to click if we forward to amazon website that could be against their policy. Is iFrame also fall into that category?

Please some body help me answer these questions.

    Thanks
    Rao

Amazon has their own search engine, so they will know if you are bidding on any trademarked word.

You can not iframe anything, they will kick you out and keep any affiliate earnings you may have.

You don't fuck around with Amazon, they are known for banning affiliates without warning.

I manage to reach amazon associate customer support line to discuss above stuff. They said iframe is not at all a problem. Only thing you shouldn't bid on the keywords they mentioned. But I doubt it is possible for them to find out what keywords we are bidding on for our niche site. Always what they see is referrer is our site.
