    [Amazon Journey] My Journey to $300/Month as Amazon Affiliate
    Hello guys! How's it going?

    After spending months being the silence readers on BHW, I decide it time for me to take a shot. This is actually my first attempt in online marketing business. It's totally an adventure for me.
    A little information about myself. I am 22 years old. I'm a university student in Viet Nam (English is not my first language - so it's kinda hard for me to write all the content.)

    * * * The Goal * * *
    $300/month. My goal is pretty simple you would say. But it's still the goal that I haven't achieved yet.

    * * * The Method * * *
    Currently, I'm building a cooking-appliance niche site. The site already gets decent posts, which are 12 in total including main page content. I really want to turn this site into an authority site because it can expand the content idea as well as more potential keywords.
    Besides that, I'm also planning on building an authority with 2 friends of mine. They're also beginners in Affiliate, but luckily they don't mind the hard work.
    For Cooking Niche site, I haven't done anything about SEO off-page yet because I actually don't know where to start. Should I go with the less competitive keyword post or just go straight for the main page keyword.

    I also use Facebook/ Twitter/ Pinterest/ Tumblr as my social media to increase some traffic. The followers in total aren't high enough as I expected.
    But soon when I reach approximately 10000 followers, maybe I can hopefully generate 20 to 100 traffics to my site.

    * * * The Tool * * *
    As recommended, I was using LongTailPro for researching keywords. And TheBestSpinner for spinning Tier 1 or Tier 2 content.
    Besides that, I also use SEnuke for SEO off-page but I haven't touched it yet.
    My plan is once my site reach 20 posts in total then I will start doing SEO.

    Additionally, I was able to get a sale the day before yesterday, but it turned out that my site was violated to Amazon Affiliate ToS, so they decided to not approve my application.
    So I changed the site as what other affiliates suggested. And already submitted new account to get a new affiliate tag. Hopefully, in the next couple days, I will be able to get another sale.

    * * * The Plan * * *
    The checklist for upcoming days:
    1/ Create more contents including decent keyword research.
    2/ Find a way to get more followers for my Social Media Pages.

    I would appreciate all the advice as well as comments from you guys. Thanks in advance and wish me luck on my first journey [IMG]

    Good luck on your journey, your goal is very realistic.
    However don't scatter yourself over all the different social media networks and SEO, from the start.
    Root yourself on one or two platforms and keep growing from there.

    Make sure your onpage SEO is top-notch but not too-much. Since you already got a sale this means you got it right and you just need to scale your efforts.
    And don't worry about getting in their affiliate program. Eventually you will, just make sure to follow the ToS.

    It seems this was a short-lived journey/journal that never got updated. I too wonder how things are going for the OP now.
