Hi guys!
In the next few months an Amazon e-site will open in my country. They are now setting up with our national post company. Today we use translated German .de site and pay in Euro currency instead of our own. Is it some kind of opportunity to create sth like dropshipping site ? Or should I just create an account and buy cheaper and sell higher there? Many people says it's gonna be a huge competition to our actual auction/buy/sell site. If it's an opportunity I would love to hit it at the beginning.
What do you think? Cheers!

Since it's new in your country, I'd say buy and sell. You'll be one the early sellers. Less competition for a while I believe. You'll just need a small warehouse. Check for the products which sell the most on Amazon.

Amazon might also waive seller fees for a year in new operated countries. Become a seller and keep your eyes on for most selling products and get started once you are done with your research.

You only have stock and marketing budget to lose in exchange for the chance of being a top seller in your category, it sounds like a deal to me.

But then be cautious cause the spending power and general shopping habits won't be of the level of what you can experience in the UK and especially the US marketplace.

If you've got a certain budget to start with, you might want to consider flooding the future local FBA. If you are lucky, you might place yourself on top of all sellers for a while.

Jump in for sure, you also have the advantage of knowing your local audience better than any foreign company. If you can find some interesting product for your local people you might be able to make some decent money.

Other way to go is selling reviews to those companies.

Learn everything you can about FBA and start doing research. See what sells well in other countries and try to adapt it to your country.

You're in a position many of us would pay a lot of money for.

Jumping on the bandwagon early in the game always helps. Since the competition would be low in the beginning, Amazon will offer you incentives for selling well and might even waive some fees off.

You can build an established profile over the months and then keep adding new range of products, people will then still buy from you since you would have a lot of positive feedback.
