    Hi

What happens if you send people to Amazon on their mobile phone, do you still earn a commission? And if they order using the Amazon App, do you earn as well?

    Thanks

Also another case, if you send people to Amazon via mobile, and they order on their computer, do you earn something?

You won't earn unless they are on the device that has the cookie. So no money for you if they switch devices and order afterwards.

OK thanks, and what if they order via the Amazon mobile app after clicking on an affiliate link through my mobile website?

I've always assumed you would get commissions from sales made on their app, but I cannot say for certain.

If your link opens up in the Amazon mobile app, then it will work (or if the Amazon mobile app uses the default browser on that phone).

In most cases when you click on an Amazon link on your mobile, it opens directly in the browser, not the app...
So if they manually switch from the browser to the app to order the product I suppose you won't get the commission since you go out from the browser and the cookie is lost...
Amazon has to clarify all that stuff for affiliates like us.

    Yes indeed :)

I'm surprised people here don't give importance to this, because mobile traffic is huge now, and we are just losing a lot of money due to the amazon app that doesn"t keep the browser cookie.

I got this question last day just curious about it.

If that's the case then Amazon Affiliate program going to fade up so probably Amazone is going to do something about it.
