Hey everyone! I'm new to blackhat but not new to some of the methods on this site. Basically I've written two ebooks in the past year both on Amazon and Createspace. After writing the books, I utilized my social media following on Instagram (45k currently) to ask people to write reviews in exchange for the books. I noticed after I received some initial reviews, people stopped reviewing the book, I assume they thought I had enough and didn't want to waste their time. I used to have a blog for my website with over 100+ quality posts, but deleted everything because I gave wayyy too much free information out. I then switched to Shopify and had much more success than my previous wordpress site. So basically, these books are pretty good and I have had them edited by other people, though my conversion sucks! What are some methods you all would suggest besides blogging? I'd be willing to let someone else promote the books in exchange for a cut of the profit. Sorry if this sounds newbie to your forum but I need some guidance. Thanks!

Are you referring to fiction or non-fiction? Publishing more books is always the best way to go.

I looked you up on Kindle store. Your terminator mindset book looks intriguing.

If I were in your shoes, I'd look into building a personal brand through guest posting.

Bloggers in your niche are always looking for free content.

Give them that free content in exchange for a link to one of your books.

Self-improvement is a huge niche so you've got a lot of blogs you can reach out to

If you don't have the time, hire a VA

I pay my VA $95 and she does lots of outreach emails for me

Hey Zack, best of luck with it. I checked out your books, you have some great reviews.

I'm in a similar boat to yourself so I am not an expert, I have a journey thread here. Wrote a book [learning English] and am going to promote it through my new website I'm working on. My gist is a few more ideas popped into my head after the book was published, if I had thought of these ideas sooner they would have been in the book.

So instead I'm putting these extra units on a website. So my website mightn't have a huge amount of articles but everything on it will be top, top notch quality wise. Folks see the great free content and want all the stuff in the book. That's the theory.

Think I'll have my website and the whole social media side ready to go in about 1-2 weeks.

Then it will be the whole off-page SEO side, like guest positng as mentioend above.

Sounds like you realised you have given away too much free information, I wasn't giving away enough, hope I will hit that sweet spot in a month or so.
