    Hi guys

In your opinion, which kind of sites work better for amazon associates programme?
I've got a test site with goodstore theme and tons of plugins installed on it on a shared host package. I'm worried if I start working on it properly, it won't be ideal for visitors.
Whereas, with a review site, you aim to attract visitors who are looking to buy and are after reviews. On this kind of site, I suppose your purpose is to get them to amazon asap.

    Which approach is better?

I know there are lots of amazon threads around, but wanted to ask my own questions in a new thread.

All the best and take it easy

How are you planning to drive traffic? By SEO, Social media or paid traffic? I would say review site as you will be able to rank easier with content on the site instead of just the product name, a picture and the price.

    That's just my 2 cents.

    Isn't ecommerce against amazon TOS?

That's a good question. Amazon has such a vast tos, that it takes hours to read it properly.
i guess I'll need to read it again. Funnily enough, my domain name is similar to amazon somewhat and when I tried to enter into setting where you specify websites used, the system didn't let me save it. I guess they have a BS filter there.

A review website is way better option, as there are lots of unqiue ways to present your content in an attractive manner.

Review site works great where your product is updated regularly by allowing comments.
Are you promoting on Social media or any other form sites? PPC ads?
E-commerce site will be against terms of services
