Amazon Associates - Order Amount Error?

Have any fellow Amazon Associates ever experienced errors with the amount of orders being reported for a single product?

A few days ago I checked my stats and noticed that I had sold 35 of the same item, with only 3 product link clicks for it. It's quite an expensive, specialist item, and it seems doubtful anyone would order so many of it.

I wondered if anyone had experienced similar errors so I don't get my hopes of a big affiliate check up too high

Never experienced anything weird in my stats.

Maybe in your case it's part of a PR campaign and Amazon happen to have the item available or at a good price.
