I registered on Amazon as an affiliate in December, I filled out everything, added my sites and then generated links which i used on my sites. I get like 5-10 unique visitors daily on my website for now, all from organic search. Some of them click on Amazon links have in the article.

I made my first sale 2 days back which was for 21$ and i got .88$ as commission, it was my first sale and i was very happy, it was also a big deal since amazon said they will close my account if i dont get any sales in 90 days (40 days back they sent me this email)

Now, I log into my associates account today to see "this email ID is not linked to any account" I checked my email and BAM, "Thank you for applying for the Associate program. Upon review, we are unable to accept your application."

    Reason they gave?
    - Lack of content which is original to your site and beneficial to your visitors
    - Pages that are mainly empty when advertisement content is removed

None of the above is true, my content is 100% original and i've paid writers to write me these articles and page isnt empty when ad is removed. Actually i dont have any direct amazon ad there, i just link the pictures and the main product name to amazon.

I dont know why this happened. Can anyone please tell me what i did wrong? Where did it go wrong? What can i do to avoid this in future?
I've made a new account now and now i have to change all the links. Fuck sake.

    Thank you

    Add some more content.
Not just specific product review, try niche related content too. Then re-apply it.

Add 10+ unique informative niche specific articles and make sure your different ads on any page do not bury your content. Re-apply and you should be approved.

I dont have any ADS, just linking product name and the picture. I had 5k words home page content and like 30 out going links to amazon. :/ That sucks man

I added 3 other small blogs that I had used as tier 1 links besides my main site when it asks you to enter the sites you own.

I had the same problem as you.

Have you made sure those writers didn't plagiarize the work?
Use Copyscape, and also copy a sentence from one of those articles and paste it into Google search. See if very similar content shows up.

have you checked if the write up has passed copyscape. just coz you paid writers to write doesnt make it original.
