If niche didnt matter and u could sell any item from amazon what would it be?

You can't sell anything unless the person is interested in what you're selling, that's why there are niches, just take a look at the hover boards, if you asked me if i wanted to sell them years ago i probably would've said not, but now they are one of the most wanted items, that is until everyone gets bored of it, but yeah as TayaX stated above amazon is a good start to have an idea.
