    Hi there,

I will be starting my first amazon affiliate site and I have some questions. It will be a reviews site :

    - Is the Games/Cosmetics/Toys niche profitable ?
    - How many words should I do per review ?
    - Can I copy the images from Amazon ?
    - Can I use some of the informations from Amazon ?
    - Is it okay if I drive traffic from YT, Twitter, Facebook(fanpage), or other social network to my reviews site ?
    - Should I use Blogger or Wordpress ? If Wordpress what's the best theme to use ? if it's paid theme, should I buy it or just ... you know ... ?

I'm planning to make it as an authority site, so I will be posting a lot of reviews per week.
    - How many reviews should I post each day ? week ? month ?
    - Regarding the SEO, is there any suggestions ? or should I deal with it as a normal niche site ?
    - One more question about the SEO part, should I target each keyword (since each product will have more than 10 LSI) or target the main keywords of the site (reviews, buy, best sellers, ...) ?
    - About the traffic, is it okay if I buy traffic ? or use Adword and Facebook pub ?

I am also going to put some videos on different video hosts :
    - Should I make custom videos (with only images and text, using After effect) or upload pubs of the product ?

Thanks a lot, feel free to answer any question or add your own suggestions. This will be helpful to the others.

I'd answer them all to be honest --- but it also comes down to you taking personal responsibility to research this stuff before you even start... as alot of what your asking is IM 101.

Ill answer one question for you though - forget blogger - that's not going to make you money in the long run.

It is a tough crowd here. I thought I had asked a fairly simple question but haven't had a single response either. I almost paid for a membership then thought better of it. I will look around here some more and see how helpful it really is. I used to be a forum moderator on a huge home theater forum and we really tried our best to either answer the question, or direct the person to a place where they could find their own answers. Yeah, we had a not of noobs and basic questions, but hey, you have to start somewhere. Wish I could help you out more. Starting my own site has certainly been an eye opener. Facebook and social media is a great place to start. Drive as much traffic as you want from FB and Twitter. Hammer out the emails. You need to get Google Analytics up and running to so you can see what is working and not working. Meta Tagging. Write articles and get them online to help drive traffic to your site.
Some of your questions ARE very basic and things you should have found out BEFORE you started a site or go further. If there isn't any money in it, and that is your goal, stop now. You need to do that research yourself though. Write a business plan as if you were presenting it to potential investors. Sell the site and idea to yourself first. It sounds like you need more information so I recommend spending a lot of hours doing web research on Toys, Games and cosmetics. Research the competition. Is the market already saturated. Good Luck.

    Thanks a lot buddy !

I see that people in this section don't want ppl to get involved in the "THING" .. That's okay ^^ ... Personnaly I'll post each information I found and hopefully someone will help me on my task.

I'm not a good writer ... So I will be paying the reviews .. that's why I am asking a lot of basic questions, I don't have a lot of money to spend...

Anyway, thanks for the respond. I've sent you a PM @Need4More.

    Good luck everyone !

Here is the answers I got from "cool.dude123"

    - Is the Games/Cosmetics/Toys niche profitable ?
most niches on amazon are profitable, and with amazon you get commision for everything the person buys up to 48 hours

    - How many words should I do per review ?
    big products 500+
    small products 200+

    - Can I copy the images from Amazon ?
    yes, I think you can

    - Can I use some of the informations from Amazon ?
yes you can, some people just make sites that post the amazon product page on their site, but keep it as unique as you can for help in the SERPS

    - Is it okay if I drive traffic from YT, Twitter, Facebook(fanpage), or other social network to my reviews site ?
yes amazon can't track your traffic, they can only track where you place the amazon links

    - Should I use Blogger or Wordpress ? If Wordpress what's the best theme to use ? if it's paid theme, should I buy it or just ... you know ... ?
wordpress is better and get in on your own domain, pro review theme is good, and you can find lots of good themes in the download section of BHW

    - How many reviews should I post each day ? week ? month ?
at least 1 a week, but 1 every 2 days would be really good

    - Regarding the SEO, is there any suggestions ? or should I deal with it as a normal niche site ?
build first teir by hand so you have a solid foundation. get UD or GSA for aid with SEO aswell

    - One more question about the SEO part, should I target each keyword (since each product will have more than 10 LSI) or target the main keywords of the site (reviews, buy, best sellers, ...) ?
each product page build backlinks to with a wide range of backlinks. on your homepage target the big keywords.

    - About the traffic, is it okay if I buy traffic ? or use Adword and Facebook pub ?
yes you can pay for traffic but your ROI might not be very good as you only get 4-10% commission from amazon

thanks tritina. Got your pm. Will write to you later. Busy promoting MY site. hehe. Tough as hell. Been researching and writing emails all morning. You would think escorts and such would love a free place to list, but maybe I have to change my approach. FREE ICECREAM!
Nobody ever responded to my post. Oh well. I'll keep searching. Eventually the answers will turn up.

:) Just that you asked too many questions and that it would take a ton of time to answer them all. BHW is a great place to find info, mate. I'm glad that you already started finding your answers. I'll answer one which i'm confident about - Have a ton of content going on your site. For affiliate sites, that is the only thing which will set you apart from the millions of other similar sites / blogs / comparison portals on the net today. You can write the content yourself if you'd like, or see if you can hire an employee instead of paying freelance. Ask if you need help in the endeavor. Cheers :) Hope you make a ton of money.
