After a lot of past experience, stable monthly income and enough cash for investment I decided to start my first ever Amazon Affiliate site. No previous experience, just nothing. I was reading tons of threads, tutorials, tips & tricks around it and got together some information, put them on the paper and decided to try myself out. I will update this journey once something big happens and will be happy to answer some questions (if I know answers lol).

What I've got so far

  • Good SEO metrics domain (auction, got it for aroun 700$ I think, and It's in my niche)
  • A lot of knowledge in WordPress (so I can set up one really nice looking website)
  • Multiple social media profiles to promote my website for some signals (I know that can boost visitors and maybe sales, who knows)
  • Good Youtube channel to start creating video content based around my website niche
  • Idea for articles (some of them will be written by me out of fun)

What I need from you guys

  • Suggest me a good content writer
  • Suggest me some interesting wordpress theme to use for my project
  • Wish me luck!

Good luck with your journey. I suggest testing out the strength of the domain by putting up 100,000 or so words of dirt cheap content (think $2/500 words) and seeing how well it ranks. If it doesn't get to the first 3 pages, then the domain probably isn't worth using or the niche is very competitive. You'll save a ton of money doing this.

The domain has clean history, pretty decent, same niche as mine, and was never used as affiliate site or anything similar. Should I scrape the content from the archive from that same site and put it back on? I heard somewhere it's good thing to do :)

Theme wise, im using generatepress. Simple and fast af. Marketer style

I like it, can the revolution slider be there? It kinda seems more like blog to me, I will write also some news around my niche.

It is compatabile to few builders, so yeah you can do wonders i guess
 
Good luck to you. I remember your first CPA journey thread where your goal was to make a consistent 17/day using your mobile phone. This will definitely be a success too!
 
Good luck mate, keep up updated either way. Sounds like you have a decent start with that expired domain. The hardest bit is the start when you are blogging your ass off and no traffic is coming in.
 
Good luck, I've used generate press for a long time now. Clean, lightweight, SEO optimized and super fast. Used with thrive in the past now using elementor pro for my new site.

Rebuild inner pages that had quality links going to them. Whether you put the same content form archive.org or put new content on there is up to you. I tend to favor new content to avoid any copyright/DMCA issues.

I've bought many similar domains to what you're describing. It's a crapshoot as to how much Google values the links pointing to the domain. Test with cheap, new content for a few months before going all in. Once the content ranks, you can replace it with quality writing.
