Someone is using my amazon affiliate link on a porn website? Will I get banned for that? Please help me? As I'm using naked amazon affiliate link, it is very easy for anyone to steal my affiliate link and abuse it with link shortening or put my link on porn sites and report it and I will get banned? Solution?

Talk to Amazon and tell them that - there is not other way really. I mean, it's too late to cloak your links, as they have been abused by now (you can cloak the new ones)

You can't cloak your links or use redirects with amazon, they will ban your account. They changed their TOS in 2012 preventing publishers from cloaking or using redirects because way too many people are doing it for illegal activities.

You need to ask amazon. Just email them and say how do I prevent someone from sabotaging my account or using my links like autobloggers and scrapers.

    Hi,

My advice is to do 2 things: think about starting a new account, grab the website your code is present now and mail Amazon ASAP. It's not the ideal solution but you will taken down in the worst possible moment.

    Horrible situation.

    All the best!

Oh Dude this sucks big time. Remember though, Karma is a bitch so what they are doing will hurt them more. My best advice would be to contact amazon right away, tell them the situation and ask for a new affiliate id #

This is worse, Adsense can't prevent clickbombing and amazon can't prevent stealing of affiliate links.

It is no way out, once you are banned for being sabotage you are dead, that's why in IM don't offend anyone or show off your website.

You don't have to show your project to anyone, competition will find your project on Google :)

First of all i suggest to contact Amazon. Also make a new affiliate id (and remove the old one) on Associates account and there are plugins where you can change all links/text easily. Like your affiliate id for the site is someword-20 and change all the links with new one someotherword-20. You only have to replace your old id with the new one. No need to change all the links manually. It`s in case you have a WP site.

    Cheers

DONT SET UP A NEW ACCOUNT!!

Contact Amazon and tell them about what you found out about someone trying to sabotage your account and ask them for a new affiliate ID.

This way they see that you are not doing this and are setious about being legitimate.

No need to set up a new account! You can set different id-s on different sites. Just delete the old id and make new one on same account. The traffic from porn sites will still go to Amazon but the id isn`t yours.

You should definitely be jumping the gun here and letting Amazon know that somebody has been using your links for nefarious purposes. At least that way you've got some ammo if they turn around and try to ban your account.

You can't delete tracking IDs from your Amazon Account :)
