This is serious Amazon guide to follow. I am making one too.
Hi, very interesting thread and have enjoyed reading/learning from it. I'm a relative newbie and have just made an Amazon site. I just wonder what your strategy is when it comes to posting more articles. For example my site has its main page targeting the main keywords with a review of the top 5 products (each review on the page has about 100-200 word reviews on it. Then I have 5 other pages with top 5 reviews (of products attached to my main niche), again with 100-200 word reviews on each of the top 5. When I add articles should I be doing more in-depth reviews of the products I have already on the site or something else?
How many hours did it take to make 4k a month? Learning and building and all.
@iJonnyx would you mind giving us a rough figure as to what your operating costs had been since you started? Also, how long did it take until you could say you broke even and were actually getting profits outside of whatever you'd invested
I see they have different pricings, is the "standard"option original content?
How much content do you now have on your main money earning sites?
Also, how do you structure your sites - I see you use a static homepage that targets the main KW, but what about other pages? Are these product reviews or other "best xxx" type articles?
I'm starting out in the field of IM and I'm struggling with finding a low competition keyword which will help a newbie like me to rank my site a bit better. If anyone would like to help me I will be extremely happy.
Quick question about web 2.0's. Do you just create multiple free email addresses (like with outlook for example) when creating web 2.0 accounts? I'm currently finding expired tumblr domains and I'm thinking eventually I'll need a crap load of emails. Just thought I'd ask as you've been there and done that...
Just make sure you're not using gmail for anything related to PBNs. Make a new email address for each new domain and anything related to that domain (like hosting).
My network is pretty small actually, but I'm adding to it everyday. Currently have around 50 domains in the network. But I have more niche sites outside of this journey.
Glad I could help!
1) I find the products myself and link them to my writer. Then I tell them to review these products with pros and cons. I then edit the article afterwards to meet my needs.
2) Yes. I will also google the product and see if I can find more images.
I'll always message the writer on Upwork before I hire them. Saying something along the lines of "Can you write me a 300 word trial article? If I like your work, I'll hire you for my project". They almost always say yes. I then find a random product on Amazon for them to write about. If I like the article, I hire them. Bare in mind that I'm paying them peanuts, so my expectations are very low.
You have to remember that with Amazon sites, your goal is get the reader on to Amazon. That's literally it. Once they're on Amazon, they'll buy products and you'll collect the commission. With that in mind, you don't need brilliant content. Most people won't read the full review anyway, they'll skim read it and click your links to Amazon.
Structure your sites articles according to your keywords. There's no point in creating extra articles just to fill up the site.
Very hard to say. I don't record hours that I work. I've been into IM for about 2-3 years now. It took me quite a while to make any money. Remember, if you're looking for quick and easy money, Amazon sites aren't for you.
I apologise for not documenting costs as I went along. It's something I'll definitely do to improve my next journey. I'd say I've spent around $1k so far on sites 1 and 2. Currently buying content for Sites 2 and 3. I'll update this thread with costs when the articles are finished.
That's all dependent on my keywords, I'll structure my site accordingly.
Say I'm building a niche site for toasters.
Say my biggest keywords are "Best Toaster" and "Toaster Reviews". I've also got some smaller keywords that are "Delonghi toaster reviews", "Hamilton toaster reviews" and "Samsung toaster reviews".
I'd make my main article on the homepage titled "Best Toaster Reviews in 2017". It'd be a long piece of content, around 4k+ words. In this article I'd compare toasters and have a buying guide. I would do a small review of each toaster on this page and I'd also link to my individual review pages like "Delonghi toaster reviews", "Hamilton toaster reviews" and "Samsung toaster reviews".
Probably not the best example, but you should get the idea.
Check your PM.
Yeah, that's what I do. You can buy bulk email addresses in the marketplace for very cheap.
Hello buddy. As we told you before, we are following your journey.
Wondering to see your keyword competition and their competitors metrics in blur image.
This journey looks so inspiring, also OP showed great value info,i also have my questions : what hosts you use ? Can you share a list of hosting companies you use ? Or you use something like GoPBN? Also how you find the domains?
Any more updates? Enjoyed reading your journey!
I loved this thread would love more updates
do you recreate old page of PBN or just or 404 to 301 plugin?
How to chooice a niche?
4000$ is a big step forward, then you can start to invest and grow
damn if I liven in India I shall believe that in that gorgeous countries people throw up 10k almost passive businesses as this - and run to earn 100k dropped on they from this gold sky - but seems to be quite romantical, as those success stories on other forums etc)) have any proofs? just IMHO so why mean CJ afilliates or any CPC that used by 1st tier of BSA sellers, eg mail.com, bittorrent, worse than Amazon while it's not - and inet full of such a stories as a bit earlier when CPM and google CPC earned 3k+ for each sheep - as in brute real withdraw over 1k is big reason to ban your))
so if someone can really give an advice to such a rise, not free sure, I be welcome and pay %% or cash base, for those gold tips eg how to get $1k from $1k daily organic - as mean to be popular opinion there, if you not have 1k $ from 1k daily visitors then you fool one)) I want to be not fool, I want to be success using these great tips and share it reward))
are there any books, lessons, or guides you've purchased that help you do this step by step, or was this something you had to figure out? I'm talking about when you first moved onto Amazon affiliate marketing (from the bing ads). Please let me know.
-22 yo in school as well
so 4 sites for $6k is = $1.5k per each - a musthave reach for every CPM or CPA (lot dudes post 1k from xtendads)
but you must isolate any each other of them cause it intend imminuent ban off all your accs if discovered, and it will, since if they are not the same acc plugged - but it more risky then, to threw Feb 4, 2016 (1st post) to Mar 11, 2017 (4k announce post) job being banned for any reason, it's bit easier than catch stealth VPS accs (if they are not AWS hosted lol)
so whole year with professional SEO to raise amazon CPA to 1.5-2 each is ok, hope it will go along and let multiply profits, as interested too))
