Do you mean the whole content of the site ?
All the content on computerblog.com talk about kitchen or you keep the previous computer niche and pulbish a post about "the best computer for kitchen" (or more creative of course) and find a way to link this post to kitchensite.com ?

    Thanks

In my experience I can outrank those with only a few good backlinks. But of course it will vary across niches. You should look to see if these sites are targeting that keyword. If they aren't targeting it, as well as no backlinks, then it's a keyword I would most likely pursue. I just think people see sites like Amazon and shit themselves, when in actual fact, it's not hard.

I use both fresh web 2.0s and expired web 2.0s. I only use spun content with WordAI (since it would be far too expensive to use a writer for so many blogs). Each web 2.0 will have around 5 posts on, one of which will be linking to my money site. I don't build links usually to my web 2.0s. Though, it something I might try in the near future. I'll let everyone in this thread know about how I do it and if it works.

You'll need to use a tool like Ahrefs or Majestic to look at a competitors backlinks. I don't recommend using Moz, their database is extremely inaccurate. These tools aren't cheap though. If you're on a strict budget, you could use a service like GroupBuySEO. With this service, you pay something like $10 per month (Just a guess, check it out to be sure) to share an account with other members. Be warned though, since you're sharing an account with other people, depending on the tool, they can see what you've searching. Thus, they could find niches based on your research. Just bare this in mind.

Site 1 and Site 2 were started on an expired domain. Sites 3 and 4 were started on fresh.

I make the content on the expired domain relevant to the money site I'll be linking to.

For example, I'll use the computerblog.com example again.

    PBN site: computerblog.com
Title of articles on the site:
    • Kitchen Interior Design
    • Best Toasters <<< Links to money site, kitchensite.com
    • History Of Ovens
    • Meals To Make in a Small Kitchen

As you can see, on the computerblog.com, all my content is relevant to kitchens, since I will be linking to my money site. I always, always completely disregard the domain name in terms of relevancy. The domain name doesn't mean anything.

Small Update:I've added 3k words to Site 4. It was indexed in Google about 3 days ago. I checked my SERPS rank checker today, and its ranking at 73 already for one of my keywords. Not too bad, since the page is completely blank and only has the keyword in the title. Very good sign.

I've orded 2k more words for Site 2. The writer should have it finished tomorrow.

I'm going to make a change to the expenses in this journey, since I missed some of the costs of PBNs and content. I'll add this on tomorrow.

I'm using the review method by targetting buying keywords. It's been the most profitable way for me so far, so I'll keep using it.

There isn't a specific price I look for, but I'll do anything that is $30+. For me, it's all about low competition keywords, if I find some keywords I like, I'm not fussed about the product cost. At the end of the day, all income adds up.

    Update

I've changed my expenses to be $250. Which is an estimate based on my PBN costs and content costs thus far. Apologies about the estimate, but I'll take too long to dig through my paypal working out costs. I'll keep track of them from now on!

    Serps Update:

    Site 1
    site1 - 21stfeb.PNG

    Site 2
    site 2 - 21stfeb.PNG

    Site 3
    site 3- 21st feb.PNG

    Site 4

Still working on Site 4. Will add SERPS soon.

As you can see, Site 1 hasn't changed much. I plan on adding links soon enough.
With site 2, I just added about 6k words, hence why you see the "N/A", as I've added new keywords.
I've added one PBN link to site 3 and it's moved up slightly, a few keywords have dropped out of the top 100. I expect them to pop back up stronger in the next few days, as it normally is with the "Google Dance".

Income for February so far: $60.46

All of this income is from site 1.

My plans for next week are to start building links more aggressively and to continue to add content. Stay tuned!

All of this talk with the G dance knocking your keywords out and then having them come back stronger.. every time mine drop they just pop back in the exact same spot they were before dropping lol.

Looking forward to your journey and I have some question:

    1. How many content on your site, before add some link?
    2. Do you also use web 2 for tier 1 or just PBN?

My site just keep stablelized at #4 and I'm trying to outrank Amazon Best Seller and 1 Authority Site.

I just built out my own web 2.0s networks, but haven't built any links to them.
So how do you build your tier 2 to them?
Do you outsource the tier 2 links or build them yourself?
Btw, how many PBNs you are using to rank #2 for site 1? I'm starting to build my own PBNs as well.

Most importantly, thank you for your journey. Please keep us updated!

    Hi! Guys,
    What's going on now?
Already I read the details and can see that you took better decision. I'm also an Amazon affiliate and doing business is the same way.
My cost was lower than you but getting the same profit :)
Here, I can see, You cost was $203 for site 1, then what about the total cost? Please let us know. These information will be help me much. I also started in the same age with 3 sites but it took more time for such success.
Sometimes I'm doing these without my site and there investing more money for upvote and commenting. Have you taken such steps?
Mate, Please keep update in a continuous way. Newbies will get more information from your journey. Good luck :)

    Hi there,

I'm really new to this site so I've just been lurking, but I've been making moves to get started. A couple questions:

What does Tier 1 and Tier 2 mean? Like what does that refer to?
Isn't building PBN and Web 2.0s for each site extremely expensive? How much $$$ do you invest in those?

    Thanks!

Awesome post! Any commonalities among your writers that help you find new ones? I'm also looking for writers (for both reviews and content for sites) and am always looking for new ones.

    Hey man.
I see you're using genius. I am thinking to switch to genius as well but I am concerned about amazon ban. They don't like cloaked links.

Did you had any issue so far?

Great post but would also love to see some updates OP :)

I have a newbie question about the hosting: is it better to create a new hosting to create a niche website or can I use the hosting I have for my other sites? In terms of SEO does it change anything?
Another question about the backlink you create do you direct them to articles or main page? What is best in terms of SEO? In terms of user engagement it would be better to direct at traffic.
Last (Serious, it's the last one :) do the article your write on Web2.0 also refer about your main KW or can you target other KW from your site and direct traffic there as well ?

Cheers for all the answers, and keep up the good work ;)
