Amazon Affiliate 3 Site Journey: Goal to hit $4k per month

Thanks, what the number on PA/DA that makes you bypass thise keyword? The keyword > 20 ?
Can you share some methods where do you buy domian and host for your PBN? and the content? thanks

More the PA. If the url has both high page and domain authority then it may be tricky to beat. A high PA can indicate that the url has some decent (quantity or amount) of links going to it. I like to see PA<15, 1 if possible. I would not be too concerned about a url with high DA but low (1) PA.

Just one warning. If you see a niche site ranking high but has low DA/PA...they may have PBN links hidden from Moz crawlers giving a false/lower DA/PA.

Keyword tools are good, but they still need some interpretation .

Hi there thanks for the great thread.

Just wondering your process for writing review articles. Are they items you personally own or have ? If no, how do you go about writing a review ?

Thanks

Thanks! For articles, I pick the products from Amazon and then get writers to produce article. There are some good guides on BHW about writing product reviews.

Yeah actually I thought to start a new niche but currently I havent pushed all keywords to page 1 so I was thinking to do that first. Besides I also get around 10+ orders per day but my products are not that costly so earnings are less. Thanks I will try to look for a better niche and start asap.

The thing is, no 2 sites behave the same. So having more allows you to test and see what works.

UPDATE

Site A
One of the articles I added at the weekend is indexed already. I uploaded the 5 info articles that I already had. Just formatted these and add images, no affiliate links. These were all 800-1000 words. 2 of the other buyers guides that I previously purchased were rubbish. These were from iWriter, sometimes their content is "okay", but not often good enough for main pillar articles. I will get my usual writer to rewrite these.

Site B
@MrFoxyFox asked about what keywords ranking, bringing in traffic, etc. I checked in Webmaster Tools and main keywords were the ones I was tracking, however I noticed:
  • Site is getting traffic or product keywords as well
  • The keyword with most traffic only accounts for 5% of total clicks so traffic is coming from a diverse set of keyword.

Site C

Added contextual links from sub-pillar articles back to main pillar article to see if this will help rank main pillar keyword, as this is not currently ranking. Will see if this works. Received 1x 1000 word buying guide article from writer. Added this to site. Sent brief for next article.

Thanks heaps for replying. So fundamentally they invent the content? Nothing wrong with this in my mind, just trying to best understand the process :) Keep up the good work!

Generally the content is researched from Amazon details, customer reviews and the manufacturers website. I like to think as "Amazon niche" websites as a sales funnel - you are adding value by helping people narrow their decision. For instance, I want the best toaster for 2 slices, I go to your site where you have narrowed down the choice for me, then I click through to Amazon, check and review the details there and buy (hopefully).

I'm interested , Hope you'll share it soon
I'll be following. I think you can achieve the target once it's ranking on #1.

I want to know your rankerX campaign. Do you mind sharing your strategy using rankerX? like how many proxies, and articles is original or uniquely spun? And do you create 1 page web 2.0 or multi-page web 2.0? Would love to hear your thought on these. can you PM me?

Great journey so far! How many web 2.0's per page are you making on your site? Are they all automated through RankerX? do you build tier 2 links to your web 2.0's? Basically I'm trying to see what your 2.0 strategy is. Also, are they multi page or single page? Thanks! Good Luck.

@MonkeyJohn hi great thread

i am using easy azon plugin but i heard that native ads work very well too, in november i saw on amazon that native ads will earn you fixed 12% off all orders but i am not seeing info about native ads. What is the commission rate for native ads in decemeber?

Thanks

hi John, I am on a very similar journey to yours, using 2 sites, only I am nowhere near your level yet, I wondered if I could persuade you to look at my sites and give me your advice, as to what direction I should go in? Thanks

I think it goes back to "normal" rates in December. Not seeing anything go through at 12% this month. Earned around $370 last month from the Native Ads. Not sure if these were taking sales from other links though.

Good luck with your journey, I'm also starting an amazon affiliate website, could you tell me did you write the PBN or bought them ?

is it better to build a micro site that only focus on one niche

or make a site that just do many reviews from all kinds of niches?
