Amazon Affiliate 3 Site Journey: Goal to hit $4k per month

I've always wondered how I would go about building my own affiliate websites; this is quality information, OP.

Already at the $800+ a month mark and looking to climb even higher.. and that's on MULTIPLE WEBSITES?

At least I wouldn't have to pay for content, lol.

I'll be following. I think you can achieve the target once it's ranking on #1.

I want to know your rankerX campaign. Do you mind sharing your strategy using rankerX? like how many proxies, and articles is original or uniquely spun? And do you create 1 page web 2.0 or multi-page web 2.0? Would love to hear your thought on these. can you PM me?

What KC do you consider as a low competition keyword? It used to be 30 or less than 30 in LTP? Haven't used LTP in a while and thinking about getting Keysearch.

Generally around 30 or lower. This is only a guide though. I check the Top 3 and see what type of sites they are, their PA/DA and if they are targeting that keyword. The thing I like about Keysearch is the colour coding of the SERP metrics.

I have around 30 sites. They probably average around 15 DA/TF.
 
Amazon Niche Site - Metrics Benchmarks

About a year ago, I researched Amazon sites for sale on Empire Flippers and calculated their average key metrics (use the data available on EF) to use as a benchmark:

Click through rate to Amazon: 52%
Conversion rate: 7%
Commission rate: 7.4%
Earnings per click: $0.22
Item selling price: $64

All sites for sale that had sales of below $1,000 had an average of 6k session per month
All sites for sale that had sales of between $1,000 and $5,000 had an average of 21k session per month
All sites for sale that had sales of over $5,000 had an average of 40k session per month

Use this data to help judge your sites performance and set expectations for traffic generation, etc.
 
UPDATE

Site A
Added 3x mini buying guide articles this weekend. These were the articles I had already purchased but had not got around to uploading. Each article was 1,000 words. I added affiliate links (product title, image and text link), made sure the on-page was okay (page title and H1 tags) and checked the keyword density to ensure I wasn't doing anything silly with over optimisation.

Search volume for these keywords isn't massive, between 100 to 300 MS but hopefully will get some extra sales and traffic to the site.

Site B
Nothing done to this site. Having a good month so far with $300 sales and an impressive 13% conversion rate (this is due to the Native ads I think).

Site C
No work done but I thought I would share the ranking for the keywords I'm tracking:

Just added the ToC+ plugin to my website :D Sadly it doesn't work for my long pillar article on the homepage for some reason, but it works on my posts.
I wish you could see a difference between h1, h2 and h3..

and Yes the native ads is doing strong this month. I have added the native ads below the title and in sidebar sticky that is above fold do you think its a good idea?
Also I have few questions related to PBN linking never built them. You said you are building them in general niche no lets say you site is targeting 10 keywords would you link those all keywords in a single PBN or what?? I was thinking it would appear like a footprint what are you views over that?

Wow nice $300 in 5 days that some great earnings How many orders a day are you getting. Good job Here's 1 more question after this currently I am focusing on only 1 website which is doing great per month $300-$500, when do you think I should jump to create a new website?
 
I find out a keyword and check out it on keysearch.. It is just 26 so I think it might be a low competition keyword but I don't know the real competition. Can you tell me? thanks
I want to use this keyword as my main keyword but badly it is only 880 searches and even ranking on the 1st page but no enough traffic.. Can you tell me if it is a good keyword for main keyword? thanks.
Another query, what about the color codes on PA/DA that do you think it is a low competiton? and do you have any standard? just for the PA/DA number. Like you said 30 or so is a good keyword. thanks

Great information. I was wondering how is Your Site B bringing in so much traffic, when you are not ranking for your main keywords? How many long tails are you targetting? How do you find good long tail keywords? Thank you. Good Luck.

On my site it indents the different tags. Does this not work on yours?

This is a problem when you have your own PBN, your resources can be limited. From what I see, you need around 5-10 links per targetted keyword to see some ranking improvement. So if you have a 20 site PBN you could target 2-4 keywords per site. You then need to add more PBN sites or buy links. This is where micro niche sites have an advantage because you can use your PBN on a lot more sites (targeting a smaller number of keywords per site).

Getting about 15 orders per day on Site B. If you are earning $500 per site then you clearly know what you are doing :) I would start another site now if I was you.

Personally, I would not go for this keyword. The PA of the top sites is too high for me (I prefer to see more 1s in there in). Plus, the sites at the top also have the keyword in their title AND url. For me, this shows that they are making an effort to target this keyword which means they have probably focussed on on and off page SEO, rather than just ranking by "chance".

Can you share some methods where do you buy domian and host for your PBN? and the content? thanks

Yeah actually I thought to start a new niche but currently I havent pushed all keywords to page 1 so I was thinking to do that first. Besides I also get around 10+ orders per day but my products are not that costly so earnings are less. Thanks I will try to look for a better niche and start asap.
