    Hey Guys,

So at one corner of my work right now, I am slowly but steadily building a Kindle Empire. I received a fantastic response to the Kindle Journey and that had me pumped. I was so motivated that the entire Kindle project is in high gear.

So now, I have a brilliant content team that I have handpicked myself. And I run several authority websites.

    All little back story...

I wanted to increase my network and so I found a seller here on BHW (who shall remain unnamed). The seller assured me of top of the line niche sites for both Amazon and Adsense. Sold by the tall claims they made,I went ahead and placed orders with both their Amazon and Adsense services.

A couple of weeks later, they sent me the keywords. The keywords were not amazing, but I was interested in the baseline, and so they were acceptable for me. I could have further research done on the keywords and form content strategies for the site.

They sent me some horrible sets of keywords too, which I got replaced.

They then sent me some domain recommendations. But they were pretty horrible, so I skipped their recommendations together and registered my own set of domains - 28 of them and gave them the login credentials.

Post that, they tried to deliver the site. But when I saw the sites I was horrified. They threw together literally any theme they found in the Wordpress Repository. No structure, no SILO, no proper categories. Just a handful of articles with stupid images loaded on the site.

I am not even going to go into how horrible the content was. Let's just say, the automated spinners available in the market had a better chance of producing content than what was put up on my websites.

I immediately requested a refund. But since I am a fair guy, I offered to pay for the keywords they had given me. They processed a partial refund after that.

Long story short, I now have 28 domains with default WordPress installations and hosting and a bunch of corresponding keywords.

    What happens next?

Needless to say, I paid a good bit for the domains (all .com), the keyword research and the hosting. So I am not letting that go to waste. I intend to develop these sites such that they're making atleast $250 a day for me cumulatively.

    Things to do

    1. Find nice clean themes and get them installed on the site.
    2. Get logos created.
3a. Form a proper content strategy.
3b. Create content for the sites. Each site is going to have 1500 words on the homepage and a minimum of 700 words in the interior sections of the site along with images.
    4. Get more research done based on the existing keywords.
    5. Get social traction for all 28 domains - this includes Facebook pages & twitter accounts for each domain.
    6. Get a sub-reddit created for each domain.
    7. Work on the ranking strategy for each domain. (Will be added to the thread later)

    Wish me luck!

In the earlier days, I will update this thread every alternate day. As point 1 through 6 are done, I will update this thread every week with the work done per domain and the ranking status of every domain.

    The game is afoot...

I own and operate more than 10 times the number of those sites. So I guess I should be able to take on a measly 28 websites.

    Thanks so much man!

Yep, had recently begun scaling my Amazon game. Saw a lot of MNS sellers, thought what the hell!

Dude gave me a good price. In hindsight, it was maybe too good.

Call it an impulsive buy, if you may!

Good luck with your Journey! I hate it when sellers comprise their promise, I guess the sellers who shall remain unnamed did advertise spun content on his/her BST.

I build amazon/adsense niche sites and 1 of them am about to sell at empireflippers by the way (making $350+ per month) If you want any tips, here is what is working best for me... My homepage has more than 2500 words - some up to 6k! - and my silo/parent page has more than 2k words, the inner ones has 600 to 1500+

The more the articles, the more the chance to rank for long tail keywords.

    Good luck with your Journey.

Yes, I am still to form my content strategy. So I will definitely take into consideration your tip.

I normally have a beautifully done, high quality home page along with a decent SILO content structure.

And, no the seller did not advertise spun content. I was promised unique, origin, hand-written, (insert more adjectives here) content.

I saw a va for hire in the misc was also a wtitter and other writters involved .

I think 28 websites will tire you out if done alone

I wish you good luck .

You never do anything small, do you @BlogPro? :p This will certainly be interesting and I'm sure that you and your team can go well over $250/day with that many sites. Bestest of luck!

Haha! I try to go big, when I know it is within my means.

Should be interesting. The site are being setup as we speak and the designer is pulling an all-nighter to finish off the logos.

I just finished assigning tomorrow's work for my writers for my content writing business and so I can spend the rest of my time working on the content strategy for these sites.

I love it! Curious, how large are these sites gonna be? Are they going to be similar to MNS from 2010 with a homepage and like three other posts, or are you looking at more content than that?
But either way, major props to you, I'm currently managing 4 amazon/adsense sites which are larger than MNS', I can't even imagine how you do all of yours.

No way. I am targeting 20k words of content per site for starters. This includes homepage + SILO + inner pages.

I use tons of tools at my disposal and assign timelines for each site. So it's easy to manage these many sites.

    Thank you!

    Update # 1

    - Wordpress is up on all 28 sites with themes

    - Logos are done for 25 sites. I wanted a minimal, clean, yet pretty design for all the sites. The rest 3 will be done today.

    - We went with clean themes for all sites. No flashy visual composer crap that takes more than half a minute.

    - So the current break down is
    Adsense only - 7 Sites
    Amazon + Adsense - 19 Sites
    Affiliate/Lead Gen - 2 sites

    - Content strategy has been drafted. I am going ahead with @T2tkid's recommendation. The structure per site is going to be the following with some deviation on the content count, based on the niche.

    1. Homepage - Between 3000 to 5000 Words
    2. SILO/Parent Pages - 1500 to 2000 Words
    3. Individual Child Pages - 400 to 900 Words
    4. Blog Posts - 600 to 800 Words

    - We will be targeting 10 main keywords per site. Along with a slew of long tails based off of them.

    - Social profiles have been created. The header images and avatars are being drafted depended on the logo, right now.

    - Content Creation began last night. We have homepage articles for 7 of the sites, they are being proofread as I write this. Further content is being created.
