So sorry for the pain and fear his daughter had but jesus!
They also said hundreds are believed dead
I'm not shocked looking at the video. This is another terrible tragedy for America.
Yea. That is a wild explosion. It has traffic backed up all the way into Dallas/Ft. Worth
i don't believe in coincidences anymore i guess what happened in boston wasn't enough i guess out of all the years and days an incident like that could have happened it didn't instead it just had to happened few days after the boston incident what are the odds that it wasn't calculated?
At first I thought nothing was going to happen. Damn, I just hope all that were inside managed to evacuate before the explosion.
Such wild fires should be left and an escape made immediately as far as possible. When it comes to a factory full of chemicals it's only a matter of time until something explodes.
Casualties I believe is synonyms with injured so most likely hundreds hurt and few dead.
Jesus hope that little girl is ok and won't suffer any permanent damage to her hearing.
What the hell was that guy thinking? If you want to risk your life for a YT video fine... but get your family as far away as possible from the raging chemical plant inferno first.
As I said in the other thread, I really highly doubt this was terrorism. If it were a terrorist, they would have hit the big cities like Dallas or Houston. What do they have to prove by blowing up a chemical plant in a town of 2700 residents?
Poor girl! hope her hearing isn't affected.
There will be hundreds dead from the sound of new reports, there was a fire crew actually trying to put it out when it blew. This actually makes the Boston marathon situation look tame.
Both of the posters before me have cat avatars...coincidence?
He was pretty far away, I doubt he was expecting it to explode.
OMG..that is horrible to watch. God save all people who get caught in it.
I Just wish to know, why now? Who is doing This? What's the purpose?
Innocent people are getting Killed with no Crime, That's messed up.
Really? I instantly thought he was way to close, of course I knew what was about to happen.
Still... time spent recording that video would have obviously been better spent putting distance between that giant fireball and his daughter. If you see a blaze like that at an industrial facility, there's no stopping to take pictures, you just get gtfo of there as fast as possible. You might think you're a safe distance but you're likely not if an explosion were to occur. Very dangerous place to be that calls for a heightened sense situational awareness.
Would like to see what other people would do if they would be near
Take pic or run away. And i would say everyone would try to take pic or something, even those who say they should run away.
Thats just how it is
Love people who say that the Boston incident and this are having a connection.
In boston they used Gunpowder to "blow" up the bombs.
Gunpowder... Camping equipment... and little pieces stuffed into to spread shatters (Not a native speaker, sorry).
Boston was an amateur attack with no intention to kill people. The bomb was made to cause alot of injuries and chaos. If you want to kill people, you dont do that with a gunpowder bomb. Terrorists who use gunpowder bombs... Come on america.
The fertilizer plant explosion was just that what happens when fertilizer catches fire.
As a foreigner I am sometimes really shocked by all this: Terrorist talk.
Or do you really wanna tell me that some terrorist organisation decided to set fire to a fertilizer plant somewhere in texas next to a 2700 population town?
I bet they used google maps to locate the target and then just called their contacts in america and told them to set fire to that plant! (yea....)
I would be talking more about the fact that some people thought it was a good idea to build a town next to a massive "deactivated" bomb.
Thats why you should have zoning laws.
theres a special place in hell for morons who record in portrait mode.
That's not how it is for me lol. I would grab my kid and start heading in opposite fucking direction of the chemical fire.
That sort of thinking reminds me of the Halifax explosion. Many many people wanting to watch this spectacular naval fire up close and thinking they were a safe distance... except it wasn't just a fire, and they were far from safe.
