Hi, I'm relatively new to GSA SER and SB.

    What I'm doing now is:

    1. Extract all the footprints of all the engines of SER (2012 footprints to be exact).
    2. Scrape niche related keywords 4 levels deep with ScrapeBox (end up with a big list of ~200k KWs from no tail to long tail KWs).
    3. Split the keywords into chunks of 500 keywords per text file since ScrapeBox can't handle amounts over 1 million keywords very well.
    4. Load the first chunk of 500 KWs and merge it with the footprints (results in 1 million keywords (500 x 2012).
    5. Start harvesting 1000 results per Keyword from Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Repeating 4 and 5 until I'm out of keywords, process (filtering) all the harvested URLs and load them in SER for it to identify the Engines of all the URLs.

I know that I might not use all of the engines in SER when link building, but wouldn't it be good to have them for in the future?
Let's say I want to do churn and burn, all the engines I wouldn't use in a normal link building project would come in handy so I wouldn't have to harvest again.

    Is what I'm doing good?

Anybody got some tips for me?

    Here are some tips:

Only use the engines that are going to work well with your captcha solution.
Test each footprint first to make sure it actually has a decent search volume - otherwise you're wasting your time.
Don't scrape keywords like that - in fact you probably shouldn't scrape them at all. Instead find keyword lists or word lists (this is the most important tip otherwise you will waste tons of time with useless keywords)
I would pick one search engine - you can use multiple but it might slow you down and not give you many more results in the end.

I'm gonna be using GSA Captcha Breaker, and additionally DeathByCaptcha when it comes to creating tier 1 backlinks. For tier 2 and up, I don't think it would be worth using anything then Captcha Breaker for that.

I've got big ass lists of single keywords in about 20 different languages, I should use those to harvest instead? And why exactly?

And yeah, I want to know if using Yahoo and Bing is all that useful to harvest from besides Google. I don't even know if they support the keyword parameters Google supports ("footprint", inurl:, site:, etc.).

Because if you scrape keywords you are going to get results like this:

    weight loss programs
    weight loss programs for women
    weight loss programs for men

And the results will be too similar and or there will not be many results. Imagine trying to scrape 1 million keywords and only getting a few thousand results in the end.

Yes you are right, just make sure you brainstorm for keyword ideas instead of simply using a keyword tool to scrape more generics.

There are quite a few methods of scrapping targets actually. BUt what you are doing also look good.

Make sure your are using right filters in SER.

Also make sure that you are cleaning up your lists every month to stop posting to shitty sites.
