I feel like such an elitist (well, not really, but I couldn't come up with a better word), I don't even want to associate with anyone who doesn't share at least one interest of mine, and one is barely enough unless the person knows more/is better at it than I am.

I would have never even imagined myself posting in BHW's lounge, I wonder what you're all about in here.

Bitcoin is going up again. After the low it's been at lately, I wonder how high it's gonna shoot up. A new high maybe?

OP, I too am an elitist, that's why I am leaving this thread before anybody notices.
I can't be seen associating with you.

Could be. The Bitcoin market is so unstable and volatile that I don't want to even think about it lest I go about spending money on it and then losing everything.

OP, you are not an eliteist, you are just stuck up.

Bitcoins puts me in mind of a game we played as a child.

It worked like this. We had 2 white dice and 2 red dice. each turn you would rotate between throwing one die of each color, both dice of each color, then one red and two white, then 1 white and two red.

When you threw, the red dice were the multiplier, and the white dice was your base. You multiplied the base times the multiplier, and that was your score. First one to 10,000 wins. The score only counted if the roller did the math in their head and announced the correct total. I think it was my grandfather who came up with it to teach us multiplication.

Anyway, bitcoins is like that. The base is the current rate, and the number of bitcoins is the multiplier.

Each day you re-roll and get a new score, and you never know if it will be high or low.

By the way, the dice method really works to teach kids the multiplication tables.

And not like you could sell the bitcoins in one go whenever you want. Or can you?

It's probably not going to go much above the 130$/btc mark anyway. But no one thought it would go this far either haha.

Yeah I wasn't saying I was one, I simply, couldn't come up with a better word.

I am probably a little bit arrogant but nothing crazy per say. I'm probably relating open mindedness with being non arrogant which doesn't make sense but anyway.

10,000? Damn, sounds like a long game.

I said in other threads - I'm here, on Lounge, for my morning Coffee - is much more tasty when I read all the "crazy" posts from the Lounge when I drink my hot coffee :)

Fuck you, I want coffee now... I've just finished the second (half liter) cup today and it's only 11 am. Not like I'm addicted to it, but it's just so darn good. Coffee substitutes, anyone?

I like pure black, no sugar no nothing. I don't like having distractions from my coffee either, can't imagine smoking + drinking coffee at the same time, that's just me though. What's so special about Churos and Puros anyway?

The Churos and Puros - are the flavor of the coffee - at least in Spain - but if you don't like sugar then no use to taste them :D

Shit, I actually thought that was some type of flavor of a cigar.

Is it based off sugar or what? I'd be quite interested to try it if it wasn't, sounds exotic haha. Haven't tried new coffee for quite a while.
