I have found a good keyword I am going to rank for and I want to make sure this keyword is SUPER easy to rank for.

    Here are the details:

EXACT competiton: 2 (that's "keyword here")
    Broard: 41,500,000
    Traffic travis: relatively easy

I just want to clarify that If I got the EMD, did minimal backlinking I would rank number 1 very easy, right? Or would it be more than that?

Trying right now :) I just want to know if I should buy a fiverr gig for it to be sure, or it may rank number 1 organically...

I'd say go for it, just keep in mind that in SEO easy does not equal quick. It may be easy (~5 web 2.0s and a blast to them) but it may take three months.

I would look at 'Exact', not 'Broad' in TT.

    Ok more details:
(can't use exact in TT, because I'm beign a cheap and using free version)

    average PR: 2
    avg backlinks: 5k
keyword in TITLE DESC H1TAG: NONE.

Search counts.. well it may seem stupid but I'm not going after that, If it was 5 or 5k, wouldn't make a difference ;)

Just to clarify, there are TWO results with exact keyword.
I will build a few weebly's hubpages and blogspots, and I own a small PR network ~3pr each.

okay! no on-page seo ---> Great
I don't look for average PR look for how many PR0/1 are on the first page
anyway I bet it's an easy keyword with no/very little searches per month

I don't see the point of targeting no/little search count especially for the main keyword but you know your needs better :) good luck

    Hi

Traffic Travis Full version has been shared here multiple times and I am still using a full version copy I downloaded from BHW a couple of months ago without any issue + it also updates like normal.Search downloads.

    Cheers

The main thing: Focus on your first page competition only. See what they are doing. Are the top guys forcing links (like u probably will do) or are they authority, or EMD's or web 2.0s. If they are EMD's or Web 2.0s, and the incoming links to them are from article dirs, etc. you can beat them.

Also if they are authority but not heavily optimized for the keywords, you *might* beat them.

Thanks for the info guys, form your comments I would then assume this is a very easy keyword to rank for. I will do as I said above, make some 2.0's and blast them to hells and back (or maybe 500 SB links each.. Or I may NHS it.)

And as for TT, I will check again for full version of TT, It's not a massive tool I use everyday. Wish MS worked though.

Another thing you can do is if the keyword is a product, check the Top 10 to see if obscure or very specific inner-pages of major shopping sites Nextag, Amazon, Wal-Mart are listed.

For example, if your keyword is "blue widgets", and the #1 site on google ranking for that keyword is "nextag.com/blue-widgets/whatever", you should be able to easily outrank it.

It's also a great way to find low competition micro niches if you look to see what keywords a site like nextag is going after and ranking for.

Not properly. It is pretty much useless after the problems they had. They use bing for a load of things, which is stupid, and their rank tracker now just uses your own browser so can only check a few keywords

Also, would ranking on such an easy keyword take a very short amount of time? I mean 2 exact match competition, and no other website in the top 20 using it in the desc, h1 or url.
