I've just created my second website which is about a week old with only 4 post on it and saw that 3 of my main keywords are on page 2. Competition don't seems to be that tough with about 1300 searches for my main keyword a month. My search queries shows two clicks within a week. I didn't even built any back links. My question is can this be misleading facts because surely is it even possible to rank that fast without link building.

With 1300 monthy searches you can reach rank #1 within couple of weeks

Make sure your articles are good quality, 500+ words, have the right keyword density and keep publishing new articles as often as you can

Also make social media accounts on every network you can think of and link your site and post articles there, that will give you a fair amount of juice and boost your rankings

Also if you are going to build links, don't build spam links as often begginers do, that will get your website penalized

Good work... It can be misleading... There is a "new site bonus" that lasts about 2 weeks. When you do start building backlinks google link:domain.com to see if google is showing any. Google won't show all of them ever. But if you know you have backlinks and googe says you have none then your site is still too new to get credit for backlinks. I've seen it take as long as 6-10 months for websites to get credit for backlinks in the past. Just keep moving forward and know that eventually your efforts will pay off.

Google set it up this way because they know that most web spammers will quit in under 10 months. To really get into the game you have to run that gauntlet... I like to recommend that people build their social or PPC startegy early on because that can help you make sales quickly and diversify your revenue into multiple channels so Google cant destroy you later by screwing over SEO... which has happened numerous times in the past.

best advice... don't give up. Its the #1 rule to succeeding in SEO.

Without link building you can't get your website as 1st position in google.
