Okay so I'm running a few micro niche sites.. I just want to make sure I'm not leaving a footprint too large or something that G may connect and decide to deindex all my sites.

Basically if one site gets deindexed I don't want all of them to be - having said that I don't use heavily 'blackhat' methods but there is blackhat stuff going on in my 3rd tiers and below..

    So here's the deal:

Is it okay to host my sites on the same IP/Server? All my sites are completely different niches but they're all hosted on one VPS..

Can I use adsense on all of them? So far I just use it on one of my sites because again I don't want all my sites taken off just because one site gets flagged..

    Any experience greatly appreciated!

    Don't over think it.

You should be fine, if they all target difference niches there is no reason to worry.

Even if you host each site on a different VPS by adding Adsense on all of them Google will still know you own them.

    Hope that Helps.

    Okay, thanks for the reply.

I want to know what the deal is with adsense though. I know they will now I own all the sites but what I'm asking is if they take one site down will they then take all the others just because they are from the same advertiser?

    Heck ya mate

You know that though thats why you ask this question, right?

You must need to diversify IP addresses, and I'd say diversify your Adsense on some sites with other affiliate programs.

You are leaving all eggs in one big basket that could be easy for Google to bitch slap you by.

Google can tell no matter where you host your site. you are using same adsense account across all the sites right ?

Maybe, but your going to be using the same adsense on them which google owns so if they REALLY wanted to get you they would track it that way. I wouldnt worry,

Same IP is definitely a risk. My Private Network is all hosted on SEO/shared hosting. Half the sites are on dedicated Class C's while the other half are on large shared servers (like iPage and Godaddy) I would be very careful about Adsense, I don't use adsense on my sites for this reason... too risky. That being said, it is perfectly "natural" for one webmaster to have multiple sites on the same server, as long as you don't interlink.

My network is mostly for passing link value, so I just stay clear of Google Adsense and Analytics. I have never had any site take a penalty or get de-indexed... and there is a small bit of interlinking going on, mostly natural looking though. Just map out the entire link network, be sure to keep a close record of each site. Cover up the footprints as best you can, make sure you use Private registration or change the Whois Data. (Google might use this in the future)

If you don't interlink you will be fine. Unless you are going to open a new adsense account for each site you build it is pointless hosting them on different IPs as your Adsense Published ID will link all your sites anyway regardless.

I know some people who's whole network got affected.

It just depends on the quality of the sites in question.

If all of them are MFA, than there is a much higher risk that most sites in your account will get banned.

There's absolutely no risk about what you are doing. Stop being paranoid... Google won't take down all your sites all your Adsense account, just because you have all the sites on the same IP... Relax, work on the ranking of your sites and enjoy the money!

What he says and don't put too much sites under one ip and of the same niche. Make sure you add valuable content too and you'll be fine

Google will know that you own all of the sites from the Adsense (which is after all owned by Google).

However I would not worry. If your onpage is fine, a site will almost never be deindexed just because another site from the same owner got hit.

I don't know why Google would penalize you if they found out you had more than 1 site. I mean, do they want all these first-timers making websites instead?

It's not that they would penalize for having multiple sites.

Imagine they decide one of my sites has unnatural link building going on.. Would they then decide to target and penalize all my sites just because they are on the same IP? This is basically what I'm getting at..

Can one dodgy site affect all the legit ones?
