Am I in the wrong? Is this Fiverr gig a misrepresentation? I feel a bit cheated....

Ok, so I ordered a gig for basically keyword research. I have already done most of it myself but decided to purchase a gig to see if anyone else could find more easy to rank keywords for my niche than what I already had and possibly find someone who I could use in the future to save time on kw researching. So, basically the description of the gig reads "You will get the complete report and the easiest to rank key-words with high Search Volume and low Competition." When he delivers the finished gig, I open the spreadsheet and get a list of 97 keywords.

81 keywords were 100-390 exact search volume (most 100-200 searches)
8 keywords were 480-590 exact search volume
3 keywords with 720 exact match search volume
5 keywords over 1k exact match search volume (so he says)

I decided to run the 5 keywords that had over 1k searches (so he says) in google adwords keyword tool search and low and behold they were completely off from my search results...In fact the search volume was quite lower than what he had stated in the spreadsheet..only 3 were over 1k exact search um wth? Either he just put bogus #'s or maybe he's running the info under his country and yielding different results? I have no idea...

Anyways, I'm mainly upset that he didn't inform me that most of the keywords that he could find would be low search volume especially when the gig stated high search volume. Is that considered high search volume?? I feel like these kind of keywords you would rank as a last resort! I would have canceled and not have accepted delivery if I had known was his results would have been...I was able to find more keywords w/ over 1k searches that would be pretty easy to rank. How would you handle this situation? Am I in the wrong for being upset? Did I get the gig's worth? The guy also has 100% positive feedback, that's why I had chosen him...I know it's only $5. I'm just really annoyed and hate wasting money that I don't really have.

I just now checked the ones that he stated as 720 search volume. 2 of them were 36 searches and the 3rd one was 390 searches...

Just tell him your concern. Most sellers will be kind enough to correct their mistake if you ask nicely. If you don't complain many people might order from that seller and still do the same thing to them. This way the seller will know something is definitely wrong with his service. 5$ or 100$, it's worth to compain if a seller does not do what is advertised.

Most sellers will happily give a refund over taking negative feedback to their gig. Make sure you express your disatisfaction with his service(via pm), and ask for a refund.

Contact the seller explain what you consider high searches and ask why the completaly different results?

Be nice and ask for him to do another run. If he says no, well then you know what to do.

Contact The Seller Straight Away , If He Is A Reputed Seller He Will Surly Re-Deliver It.

    Cheers,

Thanks, I voiced my concern and asked for a mutual cancellation. So we'll see if he'll agree with it.

    A place like no other!
I always wait for a few days before giving feedback, in-case something goes wrong. If something does, I contact directly and give it to them straight about my concern. Almost all of them will reply and try to help you out and correct the mistake, since they know I will give a bad review if not. Play it right and you won't get tossed around hereafter. Cheers!

Ok, so he responded and he pretty much called me a scammer and claimed that I'm a liar and that I steal on fiverr...just really unprofessional about it, but anyways at least he agreed to the mutual cancellation. Thank you all for your help.
