Am I in the Sandbox, or am I banned?

Hi all! I'm normally a purist Twitter marketer, but recently got into the Blackhat link building, so if my questions sounds dumb, please forgive me!

I recently (within the last ten days) popped up this domain:

hxxp://luxuryhotelvermont.com

...with the intention of grabbing the 90-100 measly hits on the google Global/PHRASE portion of the SERPs (when people use quotes to search),... with little or not concern for the Global/BROAD (because frankly, there was way too much competition).

After hosting, I popped up Wordpress, and used all the prescribed plug ins,...

-Google Sitemap
-All in One SEO Pack
-Sociable
-Platinum SEO Pack


And then dumped about 4 posts in, as well as 5 distinct, separate pages into the blog, making sure all images using ALT had "luxury hotel vermont" and all TITLE tags had "luxury hotel vermont"... etc. (all the great techniques I have learned here)...

Anyways,... what I FORGOT to do, was to go into the WordPress 'Settings' > 'Privacy' config and set the blog option to Public.

Soooo.... going on my blithe merry way, I proceeded to start backlinking like crazy, but across several different fronts.

First my borther and I sat down both did a slow ramp up with manual Angela's / Paul's backlinks for a few days. (God Bless him, I had him up till about 4am on a workday for him! LOL)

Second I ordered a package from TalismanClick here (it was great by the way, he has already delivered the first part of it)

Third I used Directory Submitter and Article Submitter (the Brad Callen products... they aren't super awesome, but I have afew good places loaded into them so I ran them)

Fourth, I ran UWCS (Ultimate Wordpress Comment Spammer) for a couple of days, and started dropping comment backlinks (not a lot, since 90% of them get deleted by mods)

Anyways, byt this time it was Tuesday of this week. I checked the SERPs after by brother called me from work and told me he couldn't see my blog showing up in Google.

I looked. Nothing for the blog. Dozens for the actual BACKLINK pages, but nothing for the blog.

I was frustrated, but soon discovered my error and kicked myself as I changed the Privacy setting to 'Public'. then pinged once on the blog. Just the blog (for fear of overwhelming Google)...

Then last night I loaded up the 600 or so good PLIGG/SCUTTLES I have in my BMD and ran a very varied (by phrase) social bookmarking campaign, but then only pinged a few of them out.

Today I checked. My URL for hxxp://luxuryhotelvermont.com STILL isn't listed in the Google SERPs.

I am sad. Did I totally screw myself at the beginning by starting to backlink while the blog was set to 'Private'?

Is there one of you guys who is an expert on Sandboxing versus banning who can tell me if I am banned or Sandboxed or screwed in some other horrible, hybrid Google-death type way?

Give it a little more time. I'd be more likely to say you hurt your indexing by building backlinks too quickly over the "privacy" issue with wordpress, JMHO. Google seems to get cranky over sites that build a ton of links and then no activity in between.

You are on the right track, there is a ton of tweaking in the beginning for all of us.

seriously I can register a domain right now using exact match KW and in 8 hrs be on page 1 with only 1 page posted on a WP blog.

Thing that sticks out to me me is using Pliqq.. I did a run through of about 4K pliqq accounts and G did not like it, I think they have cottoned on syndk8.

thing that got me off the beach aka sandbox fast was pinging my RSS feeds and making some more RSS feeds using Yahoo pipes. Seems G does not like it when Yahoo indexes sites so they are pretty quick to put you in the SERPS once they see a Yahoo pipe.

Also open a new G webmaster account and add the sitemap.xml and give it about 1 week and the G spiderbot will start paying your site visits.

also I forgot to say I think *headspace* is better then all in one SEO.. also that WP theme you are using is overdone with auto blogging and its got nasty footprints all over G so get a new theme possibly a ripped premium theme fomr one of those other forums known for giving other peoples shit away free.

well your site does not appear in the google index use site: query.

But that doesn't necessarily mean your banned. Whenever I start a squidoo page, I dump massive back links to it, on the order of several hundred thousand. The pages usually disappear from the index for a week or two, then return stronger than ever.

Just give it time, DONT STOP your current progression towards link building.

you havent been banned. give it some time. your site will be indexed. g can be a little unpredictable sometimes

Brother, I have been in to these things earlier, ran some services for quick google indexing etc... The issue with google is that, they index-deindex-index the new sites. It happened with a couple of people i know. Nothing to worry about.. Wait for a week or so then go to google webmaster tools, verify your sites & check if there exists any issue with your site? if so, fix it... Google webmaster tools mostly will list all the issues with your site.... Don't worry n have a coffee

I am taking copious notes. Okay, I'm gonna ditch Platinum SEO pack, switch themes, get a new G webmaster account and drop the sitemap.xml and download the headspace plugin for WP right now.
