When I went to login today at BHW, it told me my pw was 56 days old, and it needed to be rest, to use this link. Does this happen all the time, or is my account now hacked? It wouldnt let me do anything on here until I changed my pw.

I think everybody need to change their password today. I think it's BHW's own measure agaisnt all the recent trojans/keyloggers in the fake Scrapebox/xRumer/SeNuke shares.

I base my statement upon the fact that for 20 seconds there were a message telling people to take extra security measures signed HaRRo.

@blowme - The admins probably changed a setting in the forum to force passwords to expire. There has been a lot of accounts compromised recently, leading to some members being banned due to there accounts being used to spread malware. If you are ever worried about a password reset being legit on any websites you use, then you should go into your account settings and reset your password again after you login. That way if you were phished the password they got won't be valid anyway. I think in this case though it was legit.

@Ransom - That's a pretty ridiculous statement. You should always care if you're phished. If you feel so unconcerned about your account on BHW, then why the hell do you have an account here anyway.

At a minimum your account could be used to spread more malware onto the forum, even if they don't get personal sensitive information from your account. Phishing is a serious problem no matter when or where it happens.

Yeah, I agree on both counts. The admins have been mentioning it in a couple of areas that his would be happening soon...guess today is soon enough. I was logged in for 903 days before changing it...lol. First time I've ever have to do it in the 3 years I've been here.

No big deal though, just routine, of course.

As for the phishing deal, that is getting worse and worse. People have to take advantage of other's accounts because they aren't good enough to do it on their own...slackers.

Whatever floats your boat, I suppose.

I have a account obviously so I can post, I'm just saying if my account got stolen I wouldn't care because I have no reputation etc on this account.

    Nice....
another new member unconcerned about his account on BHW.

I think everyone else would be concerned if you were phished and your account was used to spread malware. No wonder internet security is so easily compromised.

I understood why you felt that way. It is just shortsighted.
Phished accounts are a serious problem on any forum, if you figure it doesn't matter just because you don't have any reputation on your account, then maybe you don't really deserve the rep you do have.

Again phishing is a serious problem, everyone should always care about it.

GreyWolf, I'm very aware about the major issues with phishing.

    I appreciate the concern :)

Well comments like you made in your last post promote a lackadaisical attitude about it. You've had your account here for awhile, there's enough problems on this forum with a lot of newbie members joining that are still computer noobs. Newbie members with some experience know it's serious, but comments like you made can give noobs the idea that they don't need to care about there accounts here. After all if someone that's been on here for 10 months doesn't care why should they.

It's a silent install. It installs a virus in the background, change ALL your passwords from another computer.

Also, f*ck you for trying to download Scrapebox illegally.
