AM I ELIGIBLE FOR A JOB ?

Without a degree/boot camp, you'll need a portfolio.

- Create a portfolio of 3+ projects for each language you're proficient in. If it's just python, create 5-10 projects, and create a basic website to host them on.
- Head on over to Youtube and make a couple 20 minute tutorial videos on basic things like loops, operators, functions, modules, etc.

That should be efficient enough to use as examples of your experience and get you a job in programming.

It's all great advices but are they not depended on where you are located and what type of company you target? My country's job market is no where close to how it works in the US or in India and depending if I am applying to a multinational company, establish national company or a startup I have to use different approaches and what to present to them.

@Kimetsu if you don't mind me asking, which country or region do you live in?

My advice is to create a simple portfolio, polish your CV and start applying for open positions. Maybe look for internships if you are young, that would be a great way to get your foot in the door.
If you manage to get interviews, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience to do better next time, even if they don't give you a job offer.

You could create a website that uses the type of logic you have become specialized in, with a conversion to MP4, or youtube downloader.

Although they aren't that difficult projects, you have the ability to keep them online, and say after 6 months, these have generated X traffic.
You should hopefully be KEEPING your portfolio projects long-term. That way they can stand out better over time to prospects.

Upload projects to Github and best of luck. Join an agency to compete. One can do nothing on Upwork by himself.
