I plan to post a journey thread soon.
I will compile all information I post on the thread on the
    projects website.
Is it allowed to put a link to that blog post in the journey thread?

That website currently has no ads/popups/jsprompts/whatever.
I might put AdSense on it one day, but thats all. I do not plan to convert the traffic from bhw in any way.
It is just for those people that want to read everything in one place and maybe wish to learn more about my project.

    Would that be okay?

You could, I suppose. But it's generally ill-advised. What would you hope to gain from sharing it? Posting all the relevant information should be enough without disclosing your site - keeps you safe and stops anyone potentially harming you site. It's up to you, though :)

You also have some idiots here who might try to negative seo it. Don't share unless you don't care.

Negative SEO? Nah, thats link diversity! :D
Why would someone do that? People are weird. Didnt think about that to be honest
From what I have seen, negative SEO isnt THAT bad. Yeah, it might hurt a little, but I have seen plenty of websites that got even stronger after the attack. SEO is not the main part of the project though and I will be posting a few weeks delayed.

Will rethink the idea of posting a link here.
But you guys think posting my website here is completely fine as long as it adds value to the post?

If you're merely copying & pasting information, and unless your journey blows up / becomes real popular.... you're only gonna have a few visitors. So why go through all the bs just for a few visitors?

On the other hand if you plan on doing an excellent job, you should donate and just monetize.

Another alternative is to get the site exposure early on. Then if you follow through on your journey and get a following you can donate and monetize the site. Just be transparent, follow the rules and do what you think is best.

I wouldn't. You don't know who's reading your post or what they could do. Maybe for better, but probably for worst.

Never show your money sites.. people will reverse engineer everything you're doing, including searching for other sites you own on your server.

This is a very subjective question, OP. You need to take into account of the pros and cons.

    Thanks for all the advice.
I dont think posting my site would violate any TOS and I think it could be useful for people here, but to not get knocked down by negative seo I gonna wait a few more weeks / months before posting it.

Posting a link to your site isn't specifically against the rules but you need to make sure you're sharing for the right reason, otherwise the post may break other rules.

Posting a short summary of an article linking to a third party site is self-promotion, inflating post count and encouraging click through to an unchecked site (against the TOS here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/terms.php) If you have a method or tutorial to share, the information should be provided in the post itself before linking to your content elsewhere. This is a good example of the type of content where a link wouldn't be out of place:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...our-website-traffic-get-ready-work-smart.html

Posting "I found a great method that you guys will love using PBN's to spam a money site, here's the link!" is blatant spam so it'd be deleted and the poster warned.
