It has almost been 3 years since my dad passed away after fighting a battle with cancer. While I was going through my phone early Saturday I scrolled past his cell phone number - I'm sure the number has a new owner and has for a few years - but I will never delete this from my phone. Simply looking at this brought back amazing memories all weekend. It really made me think - yes, money is awesome and it enables a nice life. But family and close friends/loved ones is something that should never be ignored. Spend time with them as much as you can. This is a crazy roller coaster life we live - and it is very short...and can be taken away much quicker then anticipated.

Happy Monday to everyone - make money, but also tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.

Well said! I still have my Dad, but he's older now and I know it's just a matter of time. It seems the older we get the faster time goes and the more we need to stop and appreciate the little things.

    Thanks for the inspirational message!

    Take care,
    Con

    Hi,
Almost 10 months ago i also lost my father due to cancer, we were very close and i miss him very much.
You are right, family is the most important thing in the world, no matter how much money your making, find some time to be with your loved ones before it's too late.
    Regards

I had a similar experience 6 years ago, still painful though. Since then my family is on first place no matter what, but i did things diff. I cant watch old pictures, old party videos or anything related. I guess this is my way to get through more easily, but in the end what matters most its how you cherish the memory of lost ones.

This is so true! These experiences makes you sad, but you learn alot about life from them. You learn to see what's really important.

Pretty much the same story for me as well, more than 6 years since my dad passed away due to cancer. A lot of people only realize how important it is to call/talk/meet your family members, friends to say you miss them, love them, etc. is when someone very close to you passes away. We don't take a cent when we leave this world, so pick up your phone and call, talk and go meet the people you love and matter the most in your life, because the clock is ticking...

Im sorry about your dad, may he rest in peace. this was a lovely message. I think we all tend to sometimes forget how important family is during our day to day hectic lives.
