There are many exchangers for webmoney.

If I was the seller that would be great, if I was the buyer I wouldn't do it because bank transfers aren't reversible. Also if it's for substantial amount of money as you say, I would definitely pay a lawyer $500 to draw up a pucharse contract. It will save you lots of headache down the line if there are any problems.

You can register a personal webmoney account free of charge, all you need to do is verify it with your cell phone. Hint: use a random street address and name somewhere in Eastern Europe. Then you can create a USD purse, which will be credited once someone sends you a payment. Folks on the Internet tend to trust/work with Webmoney more than with PayPal, since there is seldom money laundering involved. I bet you can hop on some prominent Russian IM forums and then exchange your Webmoney to BTC or any other e-currency without any time holds.

p.s A safe bet would be to ask the buyer to exchange their Webmoney to an e-currency of your choice.
