Alternative to Upwork

I’m looking for alternatives to Fiverr. I’ve heard of Upwork, but I’d like to explore other options as well.

Can you recommend a few platforms and explain what each one is best suited for? For example, one platform might be better for IT/software development services, while another might be better for SEO or digital marketing work.

A good competitor that comes in my mind is Toptal. But I think every platform is dying now due to AI and I have had experience with Upwork it is very horrable people dont even check propasals and if they check they leave one message then ghost forever also we have to buy connects on upwork to bid on jobs which costs high as a begineer as well.
