Alternative to Knowem.com

Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice on services or tools which are much cheaper alternatives to the service that knowem.com offers.

I like the idea of putting in a username, full name, homepage, email address, etc. and then the service creates profiles for you on several hundred high authority social sites within a short amount of time.

Could anyone please suggest any good software or services that do this for a good price and that will ensure that the signups are not sloppy and have missing login details/high failure rates etc.?

The end result for this is for brand protection on all the big sites with as little manual work as possible.

I always hire a freelancer from odesk or freelancer.com for these kind of tasks, way cheaper than the service you mention.

Is there no decent software that does this?

The site started from a list of bookmarking sites and grew from there.

You can find a ton of other related sites doing what we do. It's the truth, I am not denying it at all, for cheaper also.

The difference between us an ANY other site that has been launched is the fact we are 100% onshore, our own staff and no outsourced labor (Every staff member has had a background check as well as under a huge NDA).

So yes, you can find our service at a cheaper rate, but most likely a lot of your profiles will be banned. This is the reason we retain the client base that we have and are recommended everywhere.

Another site that offers free lookup and extremely good rates (which I am associated with) is brandclaimer - it works similarly to know'em and offers very easy lookup tools, and very inexpensive auto registration!

I don't know of any effective tools on the market that will automate the kind of profiles you'll need to create for brand protection and ORM.

Because of the volume of sites you'll need to work with, it just isn't feasible to automate something like this. Someone called me out of the blue a couple weeks ago who said he was going to take a stab at automating it via Python (from this forum actually) and I haven't heard from him since. But once you go down that route you have to remember that you can't do anything custom to the profiles if the work isn't manual - you're essentially operating within the frame and limitations of a piece of software.
