Alright I need your opinion here. Please note beforehand that in this post I will be using keywords not related to my actual niche.

Back in March I bought a domain that did not contain my niches keyword since there were none available (e.g., jools). Now 7 months later I'm
on the 2nd page on the SERPS for my main keyword (e.g., "pandabears") and 1st result for keywords related to my main keyword (e.g., "what do pandabears eat?").

Today, for some strange reason I had the urge to look for available domains containing my keyword. And found one that has a
dash ( - ) in it (e.g., "panda-bears" instead of "pandabears"). So I obviously bought it since it will be easier to rank for my main keyword.

Now here's where I need your help and opinion.
What should I do with this newly acquired domain? I obviously won't transfer everything to it since I aready have to many articles backlinks on ("jools") not including a good amount of followers on my facebook fan page. I'm thinking of maybe writing a small article on "pandabears" followed by all the on page seo stuff (keyword density, etc.) and then building backlinks towards it so I can rank on the first page for my main keyword and then at the end to add a link to my main or even a 301 redirect.

Someone else suggested to build a link wheel with it.

What do you think? What should I do with the exact match keyword domain?

There are a number of things you can do with it.

    1. Build up targeted niche content on your new site, an use the old site to link to your new one.

    2. Continue to build out your old site since it's already ranking and use the new site to promote the old one.

    3. Build a site similar to your older one....

I recommend that next time take the time to sit down and plan out your campaigns before you buy domains.

Otherwise you will end up just doing random tasks and this will hinder your overall progress a lot.

Yup, maybe the question asked by the OP should have been looked into before getting started lol
