    ### July 25, 2009 [ANOTHER FAILURE] ###

I'm not going to lie, I can't lie (not on BHW anyways). I've fallen, yet again, into my "Well, I tried, nothing worked, so lets just give up" mindset. I don't know what to do. I did follow through with the Secret Admirer method, I even registered an E-Card domain name, made a quick webdesign, and used PHP to make it semi-better.

    http://www.flaredrop.com/

I had used the e-mails from a Craigslist attempt awhile back, and this is what I sent to the users.

To which they are taken to FlareDrop, where they read that I have a secret crush on them, and are given a link to my CPA attempt. I've yet to make a cent. I then signed up for some Coaching from "blackmagiquellc", as well as from "********". They were both ready for me yesterday, but I decided to play my Wii some more. What is wrong with me. It's like I don't even care that my life is going nowhere. I then talked to "filmy", about his Twitter method, and after he made me feel like I retard...

Do I have ADHD? ADD? Not only am I ruining my reputation here at BHW by posting such a whiny post (what reputation I have), it's really depressing to write this in the first place. I need guidance, maybe therapy?

Edit: Then, what makes matter worse, is a couple of minutes after replying to xcubic, I look at the "Money Making" section, for whatever reason it may have been, and see this [IMG]

if you continue thinking in that way, of course you will not make money. you have to SET GOALS. (of course not goals like latest ferrari, but smaller ones: 100$ / day to buy ....)
find the things that motivate you and apply them.

ok that didnt worked for you, pick the cash on celebrities. see how the guy is doing it. DONT DO IT LIKE HIM (as many other noobs will do it word by word and get saturated and everything) but just pick the essentials of the method.

Now ask questions yourself and answer them, a pen and paper will be helpful:
    What is he doing ?
finding a celebrity --> What else could i do here? pick an actor for example !
Whats the thing behind it ?
you get to see sexy pictures --> What else can i make here? sex tapes, unleashed photos, drunk fight on la street bla bla, just come up with something
    How he gets traffic ?
well he uses adwords but i dont have money --> where else can i get traffic? traffic is everywhere man, start with youtube, just make quick videos with still photos about who you choose and get them to your landing page.

The main idea is to ask yourself things so you come up with something different than the original method. do the twist man :)

To Allie : I personally find this to be an awesome answer and a fantastic advice. I'm currently at the same situation, I do stuff, don't work, move one. Never question the methods and stuff...

This is like everything in life, you fall, you get up and keep going until you reach yours goals. So, what are your goals now?

Not that you should take my advice, but I have tried a few different things in IM. I've made a total of about $7.00 so far. Not much, I know, but I think that it could lead to something greater if I rinse and repeat. I've been posting in the free section of craigslist. I know that I will find something that works for me, as I am making decent money with clickbank and adsense. You need to know that what works for me won't necessarily work for you.

I do have a real job though, I work for 30 hours a week at $8 per hour.. whoop dee doo, I know. I am still trying to find something that can match the $700 per month that I am making right now.

Just keep trying different things, never give up, and be creative. You starting a journal here is proof that you are committed to making money online. Try the craigslist methods. The jobs method is particularly good these days...

This is great advice and one I had to do myself.
Maybe break down an overall large goal. Then chop it up into weekly and daily tasks of what you need to do to get to the large goal completed. X new backlinks a day. Y extra articles for an existing niche. Make it manageable and attainable to keep you positively motivated.

For me personally I keep motivated by checking off all my little tasks. It helps remind me that I am making progress even when the $ arent coming in. I can't do the step 1: pick a niche step 2: make $500/day thing.

Surprisingly well written journal! I would usually pass something like this by, but I was quite impressed. Why not start a blog of your journal?

    ### July 29, 2009 [COLLEGE LIFE] ###

I feel I owe the community an explanation of why I've given up, or in correct terms, why I've given up only for a short while. This past week has been crazy, I don't even know where to start writing. As you can tell by the section title, we'll start with my first College experience. I'm a High School graduate, currently living in Comfort, Texas. It's an extremely small rural community, with a bunch of old people and family owned businesses. Not quite prime for someone like me. I was born in Austin, Texas and used to live there. From there, I moved to Comfort, and now that I'm choosing the option of college, I'll be heading back that way. I actually just came back from there, and I'm exhausted, but I still found the energy to write. It was...scary. Lets start with this morning, shall we?

First of all, the day before, we were at the Grocery store, and I decided to choose a random cereal I've never eaten before. Honey Bunches of Oats. I was kinda excited to try it this morning (I know, how pathetic). Well, I poured a bowl, and sat down on my couch to eat it. It was so disappointing. If you've ever had Raisin Brand Cereal, everybody knows the raisins are the best part. Well these were just like that, except without the raisin. I poured the cereal outside on some bushes. What a wonderful experience to start the new day! Well, after that, we set out for Austin. I chose Austin Community College, or ACC, because it's right smack dab in the middle of the city, and that's where I need to be. I need to meet new people, try new things, get social, stay connected, all the fun stuff. My parental unit kept heeding that I stay away from the East side, that the North side is for the rich, and the South/West is where I belong. So we settled for the "South Austin Campus", what an original name. I felt so inferior driving in their parking lot, I did not feel welcome. I haven't been in the city for 7 years, I do consider myself pretty up to date with technology, but...geez, I didn't know they had buses with moving letters on the top, or elevators in the school, or those rotating car parking lot things that are 10 stories high. Anyways, it was if I was in a boat, within the Amazon. Your constantly turning your head left and right, going "Ooooh, whats that!", to "OMG WTF GO GO, PADDLE PADDLE!". Everyone I saw enter the campus seemed so mature, and to be respected. The guys had their hair gelled, nice polo shirts, all carrying laptops. All the woman had these corporate dress type outfits, and nice back-packs. I'm so jealous. All I had was a scratched iPod and busted ear-buds that of which only the left ear-bud worked. We had such a hard time figuring out where to go, what to do, which forms to fill out. Oh! Get this. They actually have police that are on campus, I hope I didn't step into the ghetto or something.

I also wasn't quite sure on what to major in. I realize alot of Internet Marketing requires vast knowledge of computer systems, so I'm leaning towards Computer Science, Computer Programming (C++, Java, etc), and Engineering. When, or if I get my course schedule, I'll post it up for suggestions on what would best suit an Internet Marketer.

After leaving with more questions than answers, we decided to check out the Apartments while we were there. Alot to process today, but if I remember correctly, a Condo is an apartment that you own, much like a house, yet costs slightly less than a house. Those I shall stay away from. There prices are so low! We found this one place, for $500 we could get 2 rooms, 3 swimming pools, 2 hot-tubs, fitness center, indoor washing/drying machine, etc. Over here, it's about $800 for one room, no carpet, and that's about it. The city rules!

    ### July 29, 2009 [SO PISSED, I MIGHT DO IT] ###

It's 9:00 PM as I write this, and I just got back inside, from having an outdoor argument with everybody. There all butt-hurt because they think I don't do my chores, I sit all day playing on the computer, and I have no life goals. I admit, I am not making any money, but I am trying. That's not enough to suffice for them I suppose. My Dad brags that I'm the smartest in the whole family, yet I'm not making anything with myself. I'm getting sick and tired of this. Tomorrow, I want to go the bank, get a student loan, purchase a car, drive to Austin, get a job, find an apartment, enroll in College, and do a little Offline Marketing, all in one day. It sounds good, right? I need to slow down, and take this one step at a time. I don't know where to start, who to talk to, am I supposed to jump and sink or swim? Or should I learn to swim before I even jump?

How difficult is it to get a student loan? I have no credit, I'm not even sure I know how credit works. It's like eBay feedback, correct? Where one is more opt to go with the one with positive (good credit) feedback, rather than the neutral (no credit), or the negative (bad credit). I also wonder how difficult it is to rely on the city bus, rather than a vehicle. I've never had a vehicle, but I've also never ridden the bus. I rode the school bus in High School a couple of times, I would have rather walked, than deal with those retards. I'm also excited that there are jobs in the city that aren't fast-food! I can't fathom what it would be like to work in a place such as JCPenney's or Dillards. I can just hear the gasps now "What the hell? Your excited to work a 9-5 job?", actually, I am quite excited. Also, with College, don't you go to school for like 5 hours? The best part, no parents!

I realize that I may have written complete nonsense, but I am so excited/angry, ready to take action, blood pumping, I've got to get out here, make something of myself. I don't know if I can, or if I will. You guys have no idea!

    ### July 29, 2009 [CRAIGSLIST NONSENSE] ###

I am both mad and glad. I'm glad that BHW has taken such action as to dominate Craigslist as its own money making niche, but I'm mad because I actually need to use it, and I can't because every post seems so spam-like. I wasn't sure if I should purchase an apartment on my own, or look for roommates, or if I should look for a vehicle off of Craigslist. I was straight up with the sellers, if they are wishing for me to fill out a CPA offer, then just link me to it, so I can get on with my life, and they can get on with theirs.

    ### July 29, 2009 [JUST SO EVERYBODY KNOWS] ###

I appreciate the feedback, and flood of private messages, I will get to everyone in the next journal update, I'm too excited to properly comprehend what everyone is saying right now. I'm going back outside to drink more lemonade, it's hot because I just made it, but that doesn't bother me none! Like retarded kids throwing ice-cubes at the sun! A victory against Allie Albatross shall never be won!

P.S: If any of the BHW have some "Life on your own", or "College Lifestyle", tips, guides, tricks, suggestions, do tell. I do not wish to get ripped off, jumped on the streets, yelled at, or anything like that. My wallet is trembling just thinking of the thought, and why in the world will the FAFSA website not load for me! GRRRR!

P.S.S: This was written yesterday, but BHW was down for me, so I'm posting it now.

You are one of the best writers I have seen on any forum in a very long time.
You seem to have a lot of things happening all at once. Your trip to the city was a great read. I moved from a rural area into NYC for college, so I feel for you.

Anyway, back to the IM ...
You tried the secret admirer method. I am not familiar with that one (and don't want to confuse myself more) but tweek it and try again. See if you can figure out where it was week and change it. osmose01 gave you some feedback. With your writing skills, you should be able whip something up. If t is secret admirer say you are new, don't know many people, shy, possibly hint at a freaky side.

Regarding college, I'm actually taking "Marketing" because the basics of offline marketing and IM are the same. Having a course calendar and being more accountable for what I have to learn is helpful in keeping me on track after a long period of time spent drifting in IM like you. After I finish the course and I'm in routine I'm just going to buy the books (but not the course) for an Internet Marketing course (yeah, they actually have one), web design and some other ones related to marketing to study on my own. Like you, I have trouble with the whole "learning" part, but I'm currently developing methods to transform myself into a living, breathing, human information vacuum. I'm making good progress so far. :D

Keep up the journal, your writing style is great.
