    Hi,

Sorry if this is a stupid question. But I have tried at least 4 of the major link indexing services here from BHW, all of them do what they claim do to, at least I believe so, can't test it anyway.

No I was wondering, are they actually doing any good for my sites?
Do they help you get better ranking you think?

    Thanks for clarification.

Good question, and one that I too have thought about before. In my experience, link indexing services, while not a total waste of money are not a necessity. If you're building tier 2 and 3 links then they can be of benefit, but if you're building high quality stuff, they become somewhat counterproductive as links are crawled and indexed naturally. If you have a decent budget I don't think having an account could hurt, but it would rank pretty far down my list of priorities of where to allocate my money when trying to rank.

I never use them, in my opinion if a link is good enough to be indexed naturally, they are worth having in my link profiles. Plus it also reduces your link velocity footprint... more chaos the better!

Churn and burn projects would need some kind of fast indexing, but I go with social signals in this case.

Yeah okay. Social signals are good alternative. I came pretty much to the same conclusion as both of you did that's why I was asking. It seems sometimes they do something good in regards to fast indexing which again has a slight effect on the ranking, but overall I don't see any use of it.

Hmm how about the churn and burn project of 20,000 links a day... Social signal is no longer an alternative is it?
