I was wondering if anyone at all had the pleasure to get long term benefits from the so called "Link building services" BST's here at BHW.

We have been using most of them, some for 1 and some for 2 months and it's like to piss in your pants,it's get hot and very cold, so it works for say 5 - 7 days and down goes your ranking.

If you start questioning the service they offer, they have lots and lots of excuses and it's ALWAYS YOUR OWN fault never they admit the service to fail.

So I wonder what's your experience?

I used to rent links from Tommy (SpeedRank) before I started getting my own SAPE links directly (about 90% cheaper) and before I had significant PBN capacity... I always got reasonably good results.

For about 3 years ago we did all the work by our self and got great results, the last year or so we spend money with BHW members here and the results are not satisfying I must say.

Seems it is somehow similar to your experience.

We didn't tried SpeedRank yet, maybe it is worth to give it a shot to see if that works.

I would of course make the point that it's strictly blackhat... they're plain straight out sape links. If you don't use them properly, your site will tank quickly.

How do you get sape links? Do top you mind lying me with some vendors? I'd greatly appreciate it!

I'm not quite sure where to go with the second part of your question - so I'll just take the first part.
You get sape links by creating an account at sape.ru.

For long term ranking i prefer / advise private route of linkbuilding with direct negotiations with webmasters. Many BST's here are good only for very short term ranking.

So you need some one Russian to sign up for you if you don't speak russian I guess :) The site is not in English right? why would you use SpeedRank if you can get your SAPE links directly at reduced price?

Yes I can totally empathise with you.

My only advice to you is that you read sales threads THOROUGHLY before you make any decision.

A lot of sellers have a tendency to post up this huge feedback post on every page of the thread (this is the first warning sign). You need to look past that and read the individual comments by people.

There are some good sellers here that I consider professionals.

Tommys service has provided me excellent results in the past but at the same time I've had disastrous results using the same service. This could be a combination of idiots disavowing links and taking down hundreds of sites, link networks that have dropped the ball and are leaving obvious footprint signs, it could be on the part of the seller choosing bad links or it could be that your own links were not diversified enough and you smashed a huge number of high PR links too quickly (unnatural) towards your site....the reasons can go on forever!

You are right its never easy to know who to blame.

The risk is shared. IF you decide to play the blackhat game you are playing russian roulette.

You just need to learn from your mistakes and identify how to be better next time.

Most of them aren't even worth considering. Especially those crap multi-tiered backlinking services. However, you can find some gems, if you sift through the crap. It's still hit and miss though, even if you find a good service. Unless you're trying to build authority sites, you should treat ALL your SEO as churn-and-burn nowadays.

One thing I never do is buy a service and have them point, say, all 30 blog posts to one site. I have them point 1 or 2 to 20 or 30 sites of mine. That way I've got links from all over, links from a wide range of different sites and PRs, etc. I think it's dangerous to have them all point at one site. And if they get crushed, all you lose is one link to your site, instead of 30 or so that were propping the whole thing up.

It depends what services you go for. Look for permanent links that would last you long enough instead of rentals and all. Guest posts, for example would not be removed if they were acquired from legit sites.

At BST you will find great suppliers with high PA/DA links, they are still helpful... :)

I have found a few problems with the link building BST's.

Generally, I think people create packages that they THINK will sell. Buyers buy a package they THINK will work for them.

The problem is that the buyers often have no idea what they should be buying in the first place.

I keep hoping someone will offer a backlink finding service. Take my niche, and when you find a proper link possibility, let me know and we negotiate a price.

This way I know exactly what I am getting, from where, and I can do it at the rate I wish to, choosing quality along the way.

Don't worry, sellers often have no idea what they're selling either. They simply outsource each step to Fiverr.

I agree, that would be a step in the right direction. Still the link need to be of a high quality and the power / juice should last for at least some months and not just days.
