I am having a quite disasterous problem. 8 days ago all my sites where working fine and loading at good speeds.

Then my host moved the server to another node making nothing work (No sites, no veportal nothing). But it was ok, it would only last a day.

The problem is that it didnt, after the transfer my sites had a uptime of about 2 hours. THen they all went down again although WHM and veportalcontrol panel was and still is working.

I tried to contact support but they say that it is a self managed server. As long as I can SSH into it they cannot help.

I have checked almost every setting, nothing seems wrong.

Anyone have experienced something similar before or can help me fixing it?

The server IP still remained the same and my private nameservers is still pointing to it

In the start I though it was DNS related until I also tried to use tempoary URLS for my accounts (myip/~siteaccount) and then it informed me that there was a 403 error (Site forbidden)

Have you tried accessing the websites using IP's? Have you pinged/tracerouted the IP's? Try using a website like host-tracker.com

I have tried accessing the websites with myip/~mysite yes, returns access forbidden.

I have pinged the IP's, both are working. When pinging my domains it responds no host found

Edit: Funny results with the host tracker, main IP acts normal while one of my domain got 65/70 failed. The few times it didnt fail it said that it had hit this ip: 67.215.66.132 , some sort of opendns ip that I never have used before.

I would double-check to make sure your nameservers are setup correctly.
Check in WHM >> DNS Functions >> Nameserver IPS
make sure the correct ip's are listed there with the correct ns names
check at your main domain's registrar to make sure the nameserver/ip's have been registered

    Home Page:
If he can't access websites with temporary urls then dns is not an issue. With file access permission you are getting maybe the chmod values of the home directory changed or php handler changed or worse your server config doesn't allow access to temp urls.

Without access to the server no one will be able to give you the best help. Your host is being an ass. Even with unmanaged server they should be able to provide basic help specially that it was them who changed the state of the websites from working to non-working with their stupid move.

Contact your host and mention that fact. Websites were fine and their move killed them.

I believe it had something with file permissions. As I set my home directory to be 755 (Thus creating all files to be 755) and then the tempoary URLs responded internal server error 500, not forbidden page 403.

Will check more with the support now

Edit: Double checked the DNS settings. I have no such thing as a Check in WHM >> DNS Functions >> Nameserver IPS button but I believe its the same as edit DNS zones (And the settings are correct there)

Edit 2: I found the button now, it wa located under network setup. I have to admit that my IP is not located to serve my nameservers. This is because of the fact that every time I have tried to do so it just keeps loading forever. But it was working without it anyways
