Since yesterday, Iv noticed completely unrelated adsense ads being displayed on my pages. In fact, i'm only supposed to be seeing text ads. Now all of a sudden Google is displaying banners on my site instead of text ads and they are completely unrelated to my niche.

For eg, for a health product im seeing banners that say this.

    KIVA MICOFINANCE
Loans that change lives, make a difference and lend today.

HUH? What is this all about? Has absolutely nothing to do with my niche.

Big G might think this way: If some one want to buy health product on your website, he might first want to borrow some money, and if he saw the ad, he would click it so you would get that payment. ;)
But if you can't stand for it, just contact the big G, they would deal with it

    You've been smartpriced!
It means google doesnt like your site and does not provide good value to the advertiser, thats why chances are it also pulled out high paying ads, and you only get squat

Well, to start off, K*i*v*a*org is a charity. You lend money to entrepreneurs in third world countries. (They pay you back when they can.) I've been hearing about the organization somewhat frequently lately so it may be g00gle helping them out. I don't think it'll be up for too long.

adbrite and all others do the same. I have a site dealing with money, and I get dog food ads occasionally.

Well, this is exactly why Gogle Adsense should never be used as the basis for a long-term business. Your income will always be jerking around and eventually Google may get a wild hair up their ass and you'll lose your income altogether.

I'm still making good income from adsense on old websites, but I'm not wasting time and energy chasing adsense any longer. The problem is that most people don't realize that the real money in adsense is in the ads Google displays on their own search page. The rest of us in the content network are just an unimportant afterthought .

The quality of ads displayed on your website is irrelevent to Google because there is a vast army of people worldwide working around the clock putting up pages for adsense. With so much supply, and the number of made for adsense pages increasing exponentially every day, it is reasonable to expect that the earnings in the content network will continue to decrease to bare minimum poverty levels.
