For most people that have been on this forum for some time most of you probably have stumbled on comments which state that methods are dead, but truly I have yet to see any method that is dead. Espcially when I just started out with IM a was sometimes very unmotivated because of all these comments, since they came from some VIP Member, which at the time I somewhat respected. Anyway, what are your thoughts on dead methods, do you know any and are you a beliver of dead methods or do you think too that methods are never really dead?

Well, if we set a difference between method and source of income, then, it would be easy to answer the question.

Method, of course dies! Source of income.. much harder.

For example, using xrummer to rank for any worthy keyword is dead. You can't use xrummer, scrapebox or gsa ser to blast your website directy. Senuke used to rank you for the toughest keywords, now it doesn't. I could go on and on!

However, SEO as a source of income is still working fine, and people are earning more money from it every single day.

The way things are done, needs to keep evolving. For example, let us say one is creating and maintaining Instagram or Facebook or YouTube or Twitter accounts for some affiliate marketing method or strategy, the ways of creating and maintaining such accounts needs to keep evolving. Strategy is a better word to be used instead of method(s). Or, in other words, methods need to be strategized on an ongoing basis, in an evolutionary manner.

I mostly like to find out the revenue streams, then reverse engineer that, and say, "What fundamentally are they doing, and how can I change it to make it my own options?" As for years there is things that people were doing and still do, and I never used these approaches on my sites, thinking they were too short-term thinking and taking a longer-term approach. I find now as I've had experience winning and failing at many things, that there is a group of principles that you can explain IM down to a T with, and you'll learn that by keeping your eyes and ears on bhw and reading the best threads. I find myself updating approaches and implementing new ideas from the things that are said here every other day by members! Noobs, Exec, and mods. You couldn't pack this much experience in a warehouse! lol

I seen a few great old threads that had semi new members post that this doesn't work anymore, and they tried it 10 times. Maybe that's too little, or maybe it just doesn't work, but every little piece is the possibility of the right door and approach working for you at the right time and making a more informed decision about a method.

Please share some dead methods as you found, and I'll tell exactly what it is.

Finding a method is different from adopting a method, make research also on diverse methods here before implementing, some are old and dead and yet some are old yet alive

As stated I don't belive in dead methods. I am not here to defend any point I made.

When I started IM, thankfully I was just reading about methods then I execute them, I wasn't spending my time asking whether something is dead or not, and to my surprise, the method that made me my first $1000 a month was something that everyone were talking about being dead.

Yes. You don't need to defend anything.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on dead methods, do you know any

I just asked what method you know as dead methods. Because you said "what are your thoughts on dead methods" so I need to know which methods here are you talking about.

In my knowledge I still want to tweak and use any old method that someone say dead.

So if you know any dead methods please share those first. Then it will benefit for us both.

SEO is a complex and ever-changing field, the methods that work today may not work tomorrow. However SEO as a source of income is still viable, and people are still earning money from it every day.

Instagram - Facebook - Pinterest methods are dead.
Nobody is posting journeys about them in the forum anymore.
I think Instagram has potential, but their constant verifications make it hard and quite bothersome to deal with.

Yeah many people say, even Google's John Muller says this and that method is dead or not taken into consideration.
but many of them still working after 20 years!
